Any trophy is a great trophy here..it signifies that we have wasted the lad's time and resources.

I have read that the arrest trophy is the top of the mountain at 419Eater. I can certainly understand why.

But below that, what do some of the veteran baiters around here consider the toughest trophy? The Pith, Tattoo, Video all seem daunting....

Please let us unworthy newbs drink from the cool waters of Veteran knowledge..

I've had a lad on the line since the very beginning of january, at one point he decided that his Email had been hacked and that it had been done by his own lawyer! (dont' ask me, damned if I know what was going on in his head)

He duly produced another lawyer, but I've been holding up the transaction indefinitley, trying to get him to tar and feather/completley shave/humiliate the (old) lawyer on film, as punishment and warning to other lawyers that dare to try and rip us off. beating

I'm not all that bothered if he does it for real or stages it for camera - I just want my video. Twisted Evil

No progress yet, the year is however young. Very Happy

Not to brag (ok a little) but I've gotten all you have mentioned Smile

By far the arrest is the hardest. Followed by safari. The video has been the biggest pain in the ass. Not getting the lad to do the video but getting the actual video due to the poor network conditions of Ladland. I'd say the tattoo took the longest and it was a group effort and a seriously mind f'd lad.

All trophies are hard to get and I had a lot of failure before getting lads to dress up like clowns, don tin foil hats, dress like KISS and the Wizard of Oz but if you keep at it you can do it.

I admire anyone with the patience who can get a lad to dress up in weird characters, or ride a bus to nowhere, or make art, or milk bulls (LOL!), etc. Bombadier's stuntlad comes to mind -- jumping off a roof, taking a punch ("uhh"), running up and down the street with his pants on fire was classic! All of the videos and pics that baiters obtain are awesome, and are greatly admired by me. (Bravo, your C4C lads frighten me to pieces!! And how many Wizard of Oz casts have you run through now? Laughing

)

But I have neither the patience nor the creativity for such brilliant endeavours. Instead, my approach to the cause is rather 'off camera' if you will. Lad has a site, I will kill it. My joy comes from knowing (a) lad has paid for a site to be made and/or hosted, (b) lad pays for internet time to see it in action, and (c) when he sits in the sticky internet cafe chair and tries to pull it up, nothing's there. BTW, (c) still works for me even if he's trying to pull it up via his new laptop, 'cause there's still nothing there. Twisted Evil

That said, yes, the arrest shield is the hardest.

While ANY trophy is good for me, the thought of a lad hundreds of miles away from his/her comfort zone without a skerrick of cash and no way to get back for some reason just fills me with joy.

I can only cross my fingers and hope, justcold. Yes, they're waiting on a huge payday -- and too many of them get it, much to the detriment of innocent people. I remind myself that for every site taken down, there are also innocent people who have been taken out of harms' way, and we will never know how many. You can't score that with flags or trophies or $$$ numbers.

I hope to deprive the lads of untold numbers of innocent folks. Hundreds of thousands of near-victims kept from harm, yes, I'll settle for that. Hundreds of thousands of $$$, we'll never know.

I do the best I can.

In my opinion the badge is the hardest to accomplish. Bravo had the luck to find a lad with two excellent traits, paranoia and an uncle in the LE. This made a black hole and a police station where you could send a lad telling the police that he was representing Gomer. Lads would then be apprehended on loose grounds be the police, very convinient and a bit lucky. But then again, to get a badge you also need luck and im not trying to downplay Bravo's effort. I think that Bravo's greatest strenghts as a baiter is his eirie skill to have lads dress up, i expecially love the Oz ones.

I don't think that safaris is that hard to do, but then again i have been taught by one of the best in the field (Dharma). If you use the right lad and the right script you can make it in time.

TWAT's, well that is hard, i had the luck of getting a lad that was already firmly hooded by another baiter and together we made him do the ceremony, and three pyramids. He kept taking them down and we couldn't have that now could we.
The same lads also provided some video of himself trying to convince someone to donate money, with a sword!. As you might have guessed it looked more like a robbery, something i pointed out to the lad. He was from India which might have made it easier to upload the videos on the web.

Tattoos is on my wishlist but i think that they are crazy hard to accomplish and i haven't even tried yet. But my most prized one is my golden star that i got from Rover.

I think the badge would be the hardest because you need proof to present to the MODs.

Having said that, I think safaris, tats, etc can be tricky because you need the right lad.

One of my favorites (that I think bravo was in on) was the Paga Adventures getting those guys to travel to the Paga Crocodile Pond scouting for the awaited for visit of Madge (Mxdonna)and her children, then the Heavy Electricity bait, the Clowns, etc.....hey, wait bravo was involved in all those.....what a baiter!

I was not involved with the Paga baits that was all Dora and Bluth and man if anyone has missed those you have to check them out. Lads going on safari and petting crocs what could not be awesome about that? The video of the lads sitting on top of crocs is by far one of the best I've ever seen.

Can I just put in a good word for what is arguably the most un-sung trophy of them all, the sig quote? Being a straightbaiter myself, I consider sig quotes to be the ultimate prize. They're the result of weeks and sometimes months of hard work, slowly but surely breaking your mugu until they are a shell of their former selves.

Plus, it's like Christmas. Every quote is different and you never know what it's going to be until you get it. Being told I didn't go to the four wall of any school at all? Utterly priceless.
