I applied for a loan at Western Sky yesterday. I have seen their ads on tv and figured they were legit. When I hit the send button on my info I was taken to a page to purchase my 3 credit scores. It said I would find out if I got my loan after I purchased them. A few seconds had gone by since I hit the send button and my phone started ringing. A woman was on the line wanting me to go to another web site and apply for a loan there. I refused and hung up and my phone rang again with another woman wanting the same. I never did get an answer from Western Sky about my loan and my phone and cell phone rang non stop all day yesterday. I finally unplugged my phone and turned my cell off. When I turned it on this moring I had 128 missed calles and 254 text messeges. I've received ove 400 emails too. It would seem Western Sky is a scam to get your info to sell.

What was the web site? There are at least two: westernskyloansfinancial.com and www.westernsky.com.

There has been a Western Sky group advertising on the tv in our area. Most of the Indian tribes own banks or own casinos.

This is the link I found http://www.westernsky.com/ They advertise "unsecured" loans. They are basically a "payday loan" lender which people should avoid like the plague.

Apparently it is owned by an "individual" according to the wording below.

^^^ That one looks bad enough (but may be legit): the one that really stands out is westernskyloansfinancial.com.

I was hoping the OP would drop back by and let us know what website was involved. Selling contact info is one thing, an out and out fake site is another.

^^ From the research I did, this is basically a payday lender.....one that charges outrageous interest like the ones that loan you money on your title to your car.
