While checking the dit'z mail, I get a completely unsolicited chat from a guy from Burkino faso (in web messenger). After being quite terse with the man (who claims to know me via facebook), I ask for proof by sending the link to my own facebook page. it's taken 15 minutes (SO FAR!)...
As I am logged into my RL facebook page as I type, I do a quick search and find there are two dozen people sharing the Dit'z name. And my character's page doesn't come up in the search! My guess is he's trying desperately to work out which one I am 
as this chat is ongoing, I'll post the rest soon |

Damn, I lost the whole lot! And I was ON FIRE as well. That's the thing with web messenger it doesn't keep a record...
Basic upshot, unsolicited lad claims to know me through farcebook. I tell him to send me the link, which CLEARLY stumps him since there's 2 dozen people with the same name. The link he sends (after almost 20 minutes), is CLOSE, but no cigar. At first I thought of going with it, but thought of him writing to that page would break the ITP rule.
So I tell he's typed it wrong and should resend it, he clearly can't be assed and just wants to smalltalk his way around it. I'm having NONE of that. I keep hounding him about it, using Top gear's catch cry of "How hard can it be"? over and over again. By the end I was using it in German!
And then finally, I gave him 20 minutes to prove he knew me and counted down with each new post (for example: "how hard can it be? 15 minutes", then "Leb wohl, liegen Sie Stück Scheiße" 10 minutes. That is "farewell, you piece of shit!" btw)
Even after I told him time's up and I was blocking him I still managed to get the last couple of posts:

Now remember, hes trying this on with everyone in Yahell land. I tried to get him to copy and paste it back to me, but he went offline (I would too after the hiding I gave him). I haven't blocked him yet, so maybe if he DOES try again tomorrow, we'll have more shenanigans.
At the VERY LEAST it's 90 minutes of his live he'll never get back! |

^^^ You should try getting Trillian or some other IM client. They can keep logs by default, and you can set a status per account. No worries about losing a chat log. |
