Hi.

This Ip-Grabber is really great but I seached for a way to pinpoint my lad, without noticing him some strange pics in the mail.

I tried to get the damn picture I made (it is white dot on white ground) into my mail. But Outlook always prefers to attach the gif.

Is there any possibility to create a html-template I could use for my mails, if I want to pinpoint.
I tried hotmail, inbox and googlemail but nowhere I can insert an image - but perhaps I could not find the button Confused

I am really frustrated after one hour of try and error, error, error...

Try copying and pasting from a HTML page into Gmail. That seemed to work for me.

Embedded images -

with Gmail you might have to turn on .. Settings/Labs/Insertig images ..

I don't know with other mail-providers.

I 've named the pic I use something like myserver.../advertising/yahooads6t3ku4x3231.png - so it looks like an advertising.

I've only got a German Outlook 2003 here, but it should go something like this:

Tools --> Options --> E-mail format --> Internet format (the button on the left in the top group) --> uncheck the box that says "send copy of image instead of link".

This might or might not work with your approach. Good luck!

If you have a fastmail.fm account, you can write an email in html, including embedded pictures. When in the composing screen, click on rich text which makes a toolbar appear, then click code and you can write entirely in html.
edit: the picture must be hosted somewhere as you can only make a link to the picture

The option is with Outlook 2007 only accessable in the Regestry.
So I made a nice safari into it. If you can move you lad to do the same it shculd be worth a helmet Wink

I know I should switch to another software, but it is so comfartable to got mails and my Palm-calendar in the same software.

The picture wouldn't necessarily be suspicious to them. Could include it as part of the conversation, like making up a corrupted passport image or something when he asks you to send one or as a picture of your character. Or if your character is supposedly writing from some big corporation, you could include their logo on every mail.

^^ Same reason why I'm basically stuck with Outlook. Phone companies just don't care too much about anything non-Microsoft. Evil or Very Mad

One question/suggestion though, why don't you use a separate mail client for your baiting stuff? Outlook and Thunderbird f'r instance can peacefully coexist, and it decreases the odds of accidentally sending mail from your real-life address to a lad. Wink

After saving an html-file with word, editing it with wordpad to make the picture embedded from the server and copying it into hotmail ------ it worked.

Again I wasted a lot of time thanks to the biggest timesaver of all time...
