First Bait, Need some help

Hello all!

This my first succesfull bait! ( well not first others are still pending but moving on slowly)

First of all, I started this bait after a fellow member posted his email adress to 'not' insult him and do not waste his time. I of course felt implied to waste some more of this scammers time and make him feel as dumb as possible.

What did I start with?

Apparently this lad was sensitive towards insults and is quite homophobic. I wanted to see if that still was the case If I threw in a large amount of money!

In comes John Sheppard! ( Gaming fans might recognize this name from the game Mass Effect).
John is a very productive man as a law expert ( other pending scam) and is this case Publishing Manager of PTBG inc. (Proud To Be Gay).

The time limit seems to speed up his response! He contacted me within the hour!

He seems rather suspicious, probably due to the baiting and calls from other baiters. Any advice on how to keep him interested?

Hi jsheppard!

Don't know about suspicious; it seems to me that the Lad still hasn't grasped what your character is offering!

I think 'where to go from here' depends on what you really want. If you really want to play your own scenario, then you could keep repeating in simpler and simpler words that YOU want to give HIM money as a DONATION. If he is not too bright, however, he might find it too difficult to depart so far from his tried-and-trusted format.

But if you just want to bait him, whatever, then it might be easier for him if you go along with his storyline, and ask him to remind you what the Membership ID Card is for. And then what the 'funds' are for. Etc.

A compromise would be to ask him about what he is offering, just to get him to invest some time in writing to you, and then, once he is more comfortable with the correspondence, to start slowly introducing your own scenario, and turning the communication around to that instead.

Apparently im in a deal with the UN? Anyhow, He is moving way too fast for John Sheppards liking! Whatever happend to nice conversation? Getting to know your business partner?

I think its the best route to stay with his idea for the moment, to make sure I dont loose him too fast.

Anyone else intrested to know if he has a wife and kids? His age? sexual preference?

Let me know! I need to think about what my reply will be.
