being BRAND NEW to baiting, I don't know if I'm ready for a dating scam. I got one, replied to it, and she sent back with a picture, sob story, and asked for money. Seriously, she said "we need to get to know each other, so I need your address and home telephone number." REALLY???? Is that how people "fall in love" in Nigeria hunny?? Anyone else want this? or wanna give me tips on how to slow this lad down? I thought I'd offer it up before just dropping it.

Just make stuff up...that is what I do...make it sound believable but...I pretty much just type a load of crap.

Poor girl, she ether very lonely or knocked-up, And she wants you for a friend.
But you will be OK wannaB8 Just play along and talk about the weather, and ignore her requests for money for now.

There's plenty of examples on here, on how NOT to give a woman money,
What she's sending you is just a script, If you write to her again under another name, you will more then likely get the same reply.

And I'll tell you before anyone else does, theres a very good chance your new love , is a bloke who needs a shave and hasn't had a bath for a month.
But don't let that put you off.. Wink

But if you want advise, please post her e-mails together with the headers [ give us your e-mail type , if your not sure how to access those] and I'm sure we will be able to put you on the right track, with a suitable reply.

There's heaps of help, but we need something to work with..

I got another very similar one (same sob story, same camp, different names. Hrm, I wonder if they're friends?) In that one I responded first about how much I love sex and girls and playing poker (LOL I got my inspiration when I was browsing photos of minor celebs and K-Fed popped up). But then she sent another scripted email asking me again about my likes and dislikes, and also stressed that she was living with a Reverend-Pastor (yes she said reverend pastor). I told her I was really confused cuz I already answered those questions, but wasn't shy about reiterating how much I love sex and girls LOL

I ignored the fact that she asked for my account info and asked me to call her rev pastor guy. I also said I don't think her pastor would approve of her talking to me because of all the bad stuff I'm into, but we'll see what happens. I did say that I played in the world series of poker and walked away with $15,000 so maybe that number will blind her from all my sex, strip clubs, drugs, and stuff LOL

^^ my phone got stolen last weekend while clubbing.
The number is currently blocked and i'm in the process of getting the number back.
Of course , its going to take time for the phone company to get off there ass and give me a new sim-card. A week or 2 i think.
