As taken from the surplus section of the forum, so no introductory mail from the lad, just my first response. Typical NOK/trunkbox scam.

process of this fund and it transfer. Hence all you need to do now is
assure me that you are capable and have an account which will
accommodate the fund without any hitch for me to proceed by
introducing to the one who you will transact with because I will
not participate in full as I have inform you earlier but be rest
assured that the transaction will not take up to three working days
if we art in accord, because legitimate transaction do not last
more than a week. On hearing from you with indication of seriousness
to partner with my officer in this then I shall provide you with some
information in which you will use in contacting my bank and my
accountant officer but before then for my own use I demand you
forward this information for my personal use your bank name and
address, account/swift number, it must the same account which you
will use in receiving the fund and then your country, state and home
address, after I receive all this I shall give my account information
for you to contact the bank regarding to this fund This is not a joke
take it serious as you can, because some future lies on it. Lets I
forget you are free open another account for this transaction if do
wish for the safety of your own personal money in your old account.

Tell him that you are going to set up a new account as he suggests in the last sentence of his email.

Hes not interested in your bank details - as soon as you get passed to his bank officer you'll get the request to pay money by WU.

Your strong religious beliefs (TWAT?) don't allow you to use banks.

I'd be more than happy to open a bank account with you, proven that the institution you suggest me is trustworthy. You see, I'm not very fond of banks - they tend to be unsafe place to put money in. I prefer Old Pop Merrill system - that is, under the mattress, or in a nice sturdy safe.

Drag it out. Slapping early will only make your lad feel less confident in answering emails. You want him to keep going for as long as possible.

You should discuss with him his thoughts on banks and banking. Idle chit-chat and one question per email will make your lad feel comfortable.

You could always throw in a few of Stephen Kings story lines to keep yourself amused. Do you live in a isolated resort during the quiet season? I am sure you get to see some pretty strange things. Wink

Lads want fast cash, we want slow pain - slow it down, ask distracting questions, confuse the issue, but always appear eager to give him cash in just one more emails time ...
