I have an acquaintance who was scammed by Tracy Bruce on www.datemefree.com and whose email address is tracy_bruce@?

I know, I should have asked the full email addy, but the name on the site is the scammer. Please feel free to bait away.

Tracy may be spelled Tracey. I should get a job in intelligence gathering Embarassed

I am trying to get on this.

There is a 12 hour delay for account activation as they have to check the profile information, but I should clear no problem. They are letting me log in unconfirmed to browse, search, and upload a photo and I see this:

She may be gone already if someone pulled the scam trigger. There are scam warnings all over the place here... It should be very good fishing for me even if I can't catch up with your perp.

After running searches, I only find one female Tracy or Tracey on this site, and they tell me it's a 71% match with my profile... I have bookmarked it (you know there is that 1 in a million chance you can actually meet someone...)

Any additional information your friend could provide would be of great assitance.

BTW... I am noticing a pattern in female scammer usernames. Female first name, and a male first name as the last name. Examples I have seen so far this week:

nancy_mike
linda_stephen
mary_brian

and now Miss Bruce

My hottest active scam is using a Yahoo ID brina_caroline09

Female first name as the last name.

And all of them are confirmed romance scammers. When I see this now, my scam alarm goes off big time.
