Hi
I'm new to all this (waiting for a mentor), but have managed to confuse a lad into making a pretty dumb error simply by addressing him as Miss.
I got the 'my father has died and left me millions of dollars but I need you to invest it for me' email from Mr K Abuk*mo. I replied to Miss Abuk*mo. The lad then addressed me by a completely incorrect name and signed the email from Miss Sabi*a. I think I confused him and he got his scams mixed up. He then had to write a really long email giving me a really bad excuse as to why he'd got both our names incorrect.
Has anybody else tried this tactic? |

Yes.
I always mess their names up, changing it to something rude if at all possible.
Then blaming predictive text for the reason why I wasn't able to address Barrister Bello, instead it was Barrister Bollocks....  |

He/She's also sent me some hilarious pics of Miss Simb* that are clearly softcore porn photos. Does he/she seriously expect me to believe that they are him/her. Why send me pics of him/her semi-naked? |

I made a comment to one of my trunk box scammers that he 'must be the guy who carries the box to me'. I got an indignant reply saying that he 'was not a guy' (maybe he thought guyman?). Since then I've responded to him as 'Mrs Brown'. He hasn't tried to correct me anymore. In fact Mrs Brown and I are going shopping together after I get my trunkbox. There's a great mall nearby.... |
