Baiting character possibly commiting murder

Here's something that made me pause; some pretty unambiguously phrased racism in my answer to one Lad who got annoyed when I queried claiming to be a cousin to Harris0n K0ne of Sierra Leone. I didn't use any actual derogatory words, but I thought he'd have got the hint:

I'll fill out the form, but there's one problem; you already filled out the space for RELATIONSHIP with COUSIN. Well, this may be the 21st century and all, but back in Charleston, that sort of blood tie just ain't right.

He didn't pick up on it:

In the place of the Beneficiary, You fill it as a brother.

OK, this is where I decided to ramp it up a notch:

What the Sam Frick are you thinking? If I say claiming this dead guy as a cousin isn't going to fly, why the hell do you think I'd put down brother? Wise up!
I'll be straight with you. There is no way in creation that I am going to claim that I have a Black man as my brother. It's a gorram insult to my mother, for one, and my father, for another.
I've fought alongside Black Marines and counted them as friends and comrades. BUT THEY WERE NEVER MY KINFOLK! Do you understand me! There are some lines you don't cross.

Writing and sending that gave me a very uneasy feeling. I justified it in my own mind as seeing what the Lad would accept. But as the last line said, there are lines not to be crossed... and I worry if I crossed one of them.

If I have, tell me at once, and I'll delete this post.

I have used racist language very rarely as I am uncomfortable with it myself. My baiting character in this one bait unfortunately was a bit old fashioned in his views.

Instead I usually go for insulting their intelligence and education. That usually gets a rise out of them. Most of them are very touchy on that subject since most of them are pretend Doctors, Barristers, Presidents etc. Very interesting reading their replies when you call them a "barely literate, semi coherent, uneducated moron".

Many thanks to all for the valuable input.Some very creative people here I must say.I think I've pretty much decided that my character will get no money,but escape with the drugs.The drug dealer will live,but sadly his wife and children will be caught in the crossfire and die.That should provide me with ample reason for visiting other countries,certainly I will need a partner to help me sell the drugs once I get there.
One of the lads e-mailed me 6 times over the weekend.Guess I should get back to him----now where did I leave my tommy gun?

And I'm sure that you'll have no problem finding a suitable newspaper article about a dead drug dealler. That'll save you photoshopping something to send to your lad.

Now your creativity is only challenged by how you kill the drug dealer. Maybe beat him to death with the salami you had in your pocket which you were pretending to be a gun?
