I was curious about the cost of internet access in Burkina, so I told him the church was compiling a guide to cafe prices worldwide, for our overseas missions. That was the best way to get an honest answer, because had I asked for receipts or an estimate of his costs to reimburse him, the amount he claimed would've been falsely high.

Just in case anyone else has a Burkina lad and wonders what he's paying....

So Oguguo is finding several dollars each week for his scamming activities, and that's a significant amount down there. I know he's in the cafe the whole night every Friday too, there's probably a lad lock-in. So we have to assume he's doing ok with his scams, bait or no bait, I guess.
