Anyone heard about this yet. Just had a mail sent randomly to my work email addy.

of this operators $7.500.000.00 USD (Seven million five hundred
thousand United States Dollars) each in accordance with the U.N.
recommendations.
Due to the corrupt and inefficient Banking Systems in Benin Republic,
the payments are to be paid by Central Bank Benin as corresponding
paying bank under funding assistance by The Barclay Bank, London for
funds remittance. Benefactor will be cleared and recommended for payment by
Central Bank of Benin.
According to the number of applicants at hand, 114 Beneficiaries has
been paid, half of the victims are from the United States, we still
have more 36 left to be paid the compensations of $7.500.000.00 USD (Seven
million five hundred thousand United States Dollars) each. Your
particulars was mentioned by one of the Syndicates who was arrested
as one of
their victims of the operations, you are hereby warned not to
communicate or duplicate this message to him for any reason what so
ever as the U.S. secret service is already on trace of the other criminals. So
keepit secret till they are all apprehended. Other victims who have not
been contacted can submit their application as well for scrutiny and
possible consideration.
And after the investigation we find out that your inheritance funds is
above the amount, But due to the corupt officers in the bank and
there charges you are unable to claim the funds now UN has decided to

Been around for a while Jadee, usual 419, send money for processing your claim, and a lot of people fall for it too unfortunately.

These are designed to reel in victims who have paid in the past, and unscrupulous folks looking for some free money.

Wow, I have to say this is one of the more GENEROUS recovery scams! $7.5 million EACH? Wow! They've already paid that much EACH to 114 victims - and there's 36 left to go? That must equal the total gross national product for both Nigeria AND Ghana!
Kinda makes you wonder how they plan on feeding their citizens....  |
