I vote no. If any of the bees sting him, then they'll die. The bees didn't harm anyone, so I'm using the ITP rule here.

I have to say that I'm struggling with the concept that anyone other than a devout Bhuddist would concern themselves for more than about five seconds with the thought that a few bees might die if they did so in such a fine cause. If a bee from my neighbour�s hive comes into my flat it gets sprayed and killed in the shortest possible time (a few months ago one did get its revenge by stinging the hand that I�d been holding the can with when I re-entered the room!).

@TSN Getting a lad to actively molest a hive would be hard, I agree, but I reckon that if they can be induced into tattooing themselves, building pyramids and going on safaris, then posing next to a hive or nest would be fairly small beer by comparison. With a bit of luck a sting or two would be almost guaranteed. Smile

His task will be to cast demons out of a large bee hive. He must be blindfolded....he will see with his soul. The truly devout follower will not be stung even once. Proving ones worthiness in this manner is surely justification for receiving $200,000 to plant a church in Nigeria.

This might be based on the way cows are held holy in India, just in a totally wacky exaggerated way. Wink

I'd love to see a lad surrounded by a swarm of bees, but I think it's unlikely to happen. Once the hive starts "erupting" the lad and his photo-taking buddy will start running, that's my guess.

^^^ Yes, even the dumbest mugu is unlikely to hang around posing whilst being attacked by bees. But wouldn't anyone like to get an email from their pet explaining that he has failed in his task after being attacked by angry insects? It'd make my day for sure. Very Happy
