After a short hiatus, JMRazor's and my favourite lad, has re-emerged for more punishment.

First, a little back story for those of you who are unaware of the lad:
was originally approached by JMR posing as an Oga known only as "The Chairman", offering to let him in on a job. was to pose as a sales agent for a Ghanian import company who were looking to import fabrics and other materials from abroad. He'd play the angle that the victim would receive the money from the contract and they'd pay him a cut. What he thought was really going on was that the victim paid the necessary "fees" to the chairman, and he'd receive a cut.
Unfortunately for poor ol' , the only magas he ever had were really JMR and myself. One in particular, had particularly strung along, to the extent that he travelled from Togo to Ghana to meet him (see signature).

After Topo "worked out" that The Chairman wasn't on his side, he panicked and tried to convince Fred that The Chairman was a fraud. After numerous attempts to re-ignite the scam, one resulting in a trophy photo (see avatar), got back in touch with Fred, who informed him that he had won the contract and been paid in full. All needs to do is get to the UK to pick up his commission. Here's his new angle:

If you can make this amount available by tomorrow and a letter of invitation I will be in UK by next week with my wife as this meeting will give us the opportunity to discuss more businesses.

Now, he's going to be unwilling to travel, but he's done it before. If I scare this lad off, he'll be back in a month or so, so I'm not too worried about coming on too strong. Any suggestions of how to pile on the pressure?

Does he have an anti-terrorism certificate yet? You know, you've got to have those to travel overseas these days.

I dare say he doesn't have an anti-terrorism certificate, but my main challenge will be to convince him to travel in the first place. He's already fed me the "I have no money" line. I'll just have to see how true that is...

One thought on travel- (from a guy with no safari hats on my sig line) Sad

If you give him an intermediate goal, he's more likely to move than if it's somewhere that seems impossible to him.
Get him to travel from say, Nigeria to Benin, to meet with your associate who has a check for him if only he'll deliver a suitcase to the UK....
Let him ask about the suitcase and make sure he knows its nothing illegal, just some Bearer bonds worth $750,000 or so..........

The result of the bait so far is that I'm meeting a contact of Mr. Topo's in london soon, hopefully some Muguvision is on the cards!

Mr. Topo gave me a call and I told him that my brother had died. He was devastated until I mentioned the inheritance. Evil or Very Mad

Time to make him sing for his supper I think.
