Morning all,

This morning i have my first mugu safari!!

A full 2972 miles - Lagos, Nigeria to Budapest, Hungary.

He thinks i am coming this afternoon to collect his 'Diplomatic Cargo' complete with $14.5m!! oh, and pay his 4500 euro demurrage charge!!

Let me think, there may be a horrific accident this afternoon!!

Once the bait is over i will post it but at the moments it stretches to about 60 pages of various emails and it has been going on for nearly six weeks!!

He is currently employed as my African Representative for my property company but i am so pleased with his results so far i need him to become my travelling guru.

He thinks i have just purchased a property in Lake Como, so maybe thats where he is going next??

Not wanting to burst your bubble, but as TFI says, there's an established mugu colony in Budapest, and it's likely the Lagos lad is working for them. West African lads arranging meets in Amsterdam are extremely common. They just contact their upper levels in the European cities and tell them you're coming.

That doesn't detract from the quality of your baiting one bit though, because you've made a nuisance of yourself brilliantly. Lads in Budapest making all kinds of arrangements, getting excited at the prospect of collecting your cash, and...nothing. Good work!

Referring to the post above - about a Mugu gang in Budapest - how does anyone know that any lad has actually been on a safari? Im not meaning to p**s on anyone's safari bonfire but how do we know that it is just not another member of the gang/group emailing from another country?

Im am new to this game so be gentle with your answers - im off to have an afternoon with Mr Jack Daniels and some Prozac after being told that my safari may not be that good after all!! Crying or Very sad

@Templeton - i've thought about that too but I have to assume that after the amount of time it takes to get a lad to go on a safari, the baiter would be able to tell if someone else was writing the e-mails.

It may very well be the same guy. Does the timeline sound realistic for his traveling? I mean, did he have to get a visa, etc? Or did he just up and leave one day? Those are things to consider. But if you know your mugu and the writing is the same and all, then you have a safari on hand IMO.

He sent me a copy of his schedule wich involved a plane from Lagos to Dubai, Plane from Dubai to Vienna and a train on to Budapest.

I will try and get him to email me a copy of his plane ticket or rail ticket (to claim tax breaks for the company of course) - and then it should hopefully clear it up once and for all

Everybody has their own writing style. All lads look similar at first, but you do get to know your pet, so much so that you can often spot him months after baiting him, using his new identity and format. If you've built a relationship with your pet so that you know beyond any shadow of a doubt that it's him mailing from both IP addies, then that's good enough for everyone.

People tend to get their lad to travel to exotic, ladless places to ensure that he, or one of his sidekicks, has made a nice gruelling long journey.

Check the mugu's IPs in his mails. If you're lucky then they will give away his general location.
