Any UKers know University College London's reputation for engineering?

UCL's a good place to go, it has an excellent general reputation and will look good on a CV. there are plenty of clubs, societies, stuff to do. It's expensive to live in London though and being a city uni doesn't have the same close-knit studenty atmosphere as a 'proper' campus uni. You won't be able to live in halls of residence for more than a year either.

There are 000s of international students there so I expect you will have no trouble getting to know people, it's a great mixture.

As regard engineering, I'm not sure of its rep. I know that in the most recent National Student Survey UCL was given a big thumbs-up for teaching overall.

I would recommend that you visit the place before choosing to study there if you possibly can. PM me since I'm in a good position to give you a lot more info Wink
