Please could you help me?? I am an active member of myspace [no life you see!] and have been getting some interesting messages from a member.....the language used is very similar to the communication I've seen on this site.....do you think I'm being primed??? He claims to be from Bryan, Texas, 45 and the pic looks like an ex model... heres the copy......

Yes. Judging by this persons typing skills and sentence structure I can confirm they are from Texas.

Seriously, If you are unsure, see where this leads. If this person wants anything of value from you then assume it's a scammer, or a free loader. Both should be told to piss off and never speak to them again. Block their addy.

Just make sure you don't have your full name and home address on your myspace account.

I would be careful. There is nothing anyone can do if you just tell them to get lost. They are obviously trying some kind of scam. Just another type of bait and switch. I don't know what you are after with your myspace page but since I'm sure it has your personal information on it, I would just ignore them.

Well I've gone as far as I can on it! But would like to post the conclusion as it really made me giggle!! Thick as f@@k is an understatement, have warned all this guys potential targets and have now blocked him. Am so tempted to set up a false myspace just to get the bugger!!!!! I would like to say thanks to this website as since Ive found it, I can see the games!!!!

well i was in south africa before the xmas holidays,later i moved to egypt and now i am in nigeria yes its an university credited placement, and what i am searching for are acient findings, some kind of bones and some things which were surpposed to have been missing long long time ago, i sell them to the museaum and thats how i get paid.

I thought you were accredited to the university therefore all finds would be handed over voluntarily! I don't believe Shane that you are who you say you are.
You don't have the intelligence or grammer to prove that you are university educated. I am more annoyed at your lack of insight into my intelligence. I know exactly what an archaeologist does and by your very basic description [that a high school student could do!] you have no background at all. So Shane stop wasting my time. I hate LIARS and you appear to be that. I don't know if you have heard of the 419??? But I have some knowledge of this law. We try not to point out to scammers what they have done wrong. By telling him all the things that raised your suspicions you have told him everything he needs to work on to be a more affective con artist. If he fixes all those problems by the time he tries to scam someone else he has a better chance of success.

When I was on hi-5, I kept getting messages from "models" to check out their website (They claimed it had nude pics of them), which would try to install a dialer on my computer or it was a subscription site to try and get me to give my cc info!

Like it was said earlier, they're freeloaders or scammers and should just be ignored!

This is self-described looting. Archaeologists would never sell artifacts to a "museaum."
