follow-up on YW safaris?

I searched a little for this but didn't find anything, so I hope I'm not duplicating a thread . . .
I was just wondering, and I imagine others have thought of this as well, if our safarimeister YW has ever gotten any further info on any of his safaris. Seems that some of them just kind of ended with the mugus lost wandering in the impentrable forest or somewhere, so Id be interested to know if there was any further contact or info on any of them.
Also, I thought that a possible way to get in touch with them again would be to bait from another account saying that we knew that the poor mugu had been scammed and we would like some help catching the evil baiter that perpetrated the crime. Any chance of that?

There are the links. I know there has been no word from the Egypt lad or the Hot Zone lad. We never got verification of that last one, we don't think he ever went. But we will get that going again at some point.

YW can tell you about the other lads, though I presume they have not emailed him.

Funny that you should ask. Big Worm and I were talking about something like this a couple of weeks ago... rebaiting some of these guys.

Here is as much info as I can provide.

Koffi Kuku (Darfur safari) is no longer reachable, maybe he is still stuck in Khartoum. His cell numbers are no longer working and he does not respond to any emails. I think that he may have abandoned those addies.

Ingrid Smith (Bwindi safari) is a bit jaded now. Ever since Robert Fitzwell killed and dismembered his entire team of scientists, it would seem that Ingrid has switch email boxes. The two lads that actually made the trip no longer answer any emails from anyone (yes, I have tried).

Steven Okoma (Skeleton Coast) is still out there and is still trying to scam. He won't talk to Troy McClure anymore but he seems to like Ima Fuquit now. They have not spoken in a couple of weeks but I am sure that they will fairly soon.

Big Worm, Jojo and I have sort of just let Larry Ken (Abu Sunbul) fade away. I have not tried contacting him since the bait ended and as far as I know, neither have the other guys.

Bruce (Hotzone safari) is also ignoring me. Big Worm and I have tried a number of ploys with him since his almost-safari and he does not want to play anymore. Maybe he did a little research on Kitum Cave and realized that where we were sending him was not such a nice place and figured out what could have happened to him if he actually had made it.

Koffi may have a new cell number, but it is not the kind you call on the phone!!

Thanks for the updates, YW. I must admit I still get a chuckle when I think of some of the incidents, especially remembering Ingrid's reaction to Fitzwell's murderous rampage! Be sure to keep us updated if anything new comes along. Enquiring minds want to know! (That last phrase may only make sense to those of us in the US. I don't imagine they have the National Enquirer in Europe!)

I tried re-baiting him a few times after, but nothing. I did so with a gmail account though, so it might be good to try with something else.

yea...its tough because the email address that he was using to communicate with us was not the original one used for his format (that we pulled to send our original script). So I tried searching through my shuttle account (where I think it came from) and Sal T Kum's account for the other email address and came up with absolutely nothing.
