Hello,

Thank you for contacting Customer Service at MySpace.com.

To help us further assist you in logging in, please send the following:

Email/log on address:

Password (If you are uncomfortable sending your password, you may send a salute - a current photo of yourself holding a hand written sign
containing your account ID for verification purposes):

A link to your site would be very helpful as well since there may be an
error with your email/log on address.

Thank you

Hunh.
Looks like a standard phishing email- I wasn't aware that there was anything to phish for on myspace, but there you go.
I found the photo thing amusing.
I'd forward that to whomever one sends myspace abuse complaints, with the headers.

The salute photo thing is what got me. MySpace is a little strange but I do not think they would do something like that. I sent it to their abuse desk. Doubt if they will do anything.

I know someone is hijacking peoples pages on there and hitting it with a virus.

A couple of months ago i got a straight 419 message sent to my MySpace account. It took MySpace admin about a week to kill the senders account. I emailed MySpace and also provided a link to 419 info sites.
Since then, i have had 4 or 5 419 messages. I passed them to MySpace and the accounts were killed within 24 hours.
MySpace also email you back and tell you they have killed the accounts.
In fairness, i think myspace have learned about 419ing and are doing something about it.

I've had a few messages sent which are obvious phishing in My Space, but now I think things are developing.
I have a guy from BF and an 'American in Nigeria' both looking for lurve with me on My Space.
Anyone interested in prodding them with a false profile?
