Once he has his tattoo, he will go on safari to meet one of our Fundaligi0n Church ships. Ive told him it has to be a real tattoo or they'll throw him overboard.

I now many of you will be sceptical, so Ive asked for more pictures tomorow, when its still swollen. However, the Church has had a few lads tattoed, and they dont use needle guns, they cut and rub this big ink poultice over the cutting, which is the traditional West African method. Tommorow the poultice comes off, we'll see then.

I hope it's real, its the biggest yet. there is some blood in the last pic, but those who rember the 3 naked lads I had tatooed were doing stuck pig impressions. He seems to be in a music store.
He looks very happy in the first pic.

@ YW - Well, sadly the boat won't be there, for reasons beyond Brother Roy's control. Shame, as Accra is several hundred miles, and two countries, away from where he is now.

I'm sure if he emails though, I can send a risky free transfer to 'A bank where we already have an account' Wink

Why do they have to put so much ink on? wouldn't it be cheaper just to ink the parts that are cut? actually forget that, the more ink the better Twisted Evil

And in the old sea-faring days, it wasn't ink that was rubbed in - it was gunpowder. (Another ploy coming up, methinks.)

I think its hilarious that he's done it so big. I send them this photo, I think Marvinator faked it up for me.

I also send a drawing of the 'Conman' tattoo, that originally came from Arthur Daley's Conman Church site. You can see it on the tattoists desk, he seems to have printed it out on a large paper, and the tattooist is doing it actual size. Laughing

Note the string on the table, I think that was to measure and draw the circle.

I bet the risk of infection from this tattoo is directly proportional to the risk that the ungloved tattooist has of catching AIDS.

I am impressed with the tattooist. Not only does he dabble in video and DVD rentals, he does ink as well. Talk about commercial versatility.

I tend to think it's a real tattoo. I doubt he'd take the time or think to use something to raise the area where his tattoo is going. Where ever the letters are, you can see his skin is raised from having himself get cut and the ink rubbed in.
