Ive read alot of shiver's baits, and im getting more and more worried for his safety.
These ** do kill people. I worrie the more shiver publishes, the bigger the target gets.

Maybe someone shiver trusts could try and physically locate him? Hes published alot, and hopefully there isant a trail of clues. Even simple things like hacking phpbb for the ip/location and watching the postal drops.

Also the tattoo baits worry me. I grew up in a third world country, papua new guinea. Im sure you are careful not to hurt the innocent, but i know that if some of these baits were done in png, the scammer wouldn�t be the one getting tattoos.

Anyway, shiver, your a ** magician! Keep it up dude.

ok, well remember, these guys are pricks, and will steal your lunch money given half the chance, most of us on here have had death threats at one time or other from a sad little con artist in nigeria, just use gmail and you are fairly safe,

the more you bait, the more you protect others

and its fun.

as for leg humping, hmmmm if you do that with a fish sticking out of your arse then you are defo a mugu on the end of a baiters hook Razz

I think it is dangerous to underestimate their intelligence and their abilities. I can't remember who it was, but someone here used a work fax number and some mugus showed up at the company asking for the baiting character. [mugu caps]YOU MUST BAIT SAFE[mugu caps/].

The chances of someone coming to look for you or me are very remote. Yet, there is a chance that if you do screw with them badly enough they might try something. Scammers tend to operate in networks. For example the lads will refer you to their 'bank' in Amsterdam.

Yes some of them are fools and idiots. But not all. If it were perfectly safe we would be using real names and contact details. We could phone up Shiver for a chat. But we don't, and there is a very good reason for that.

Maybe, but that's exactly the kind of attitude we don't want to promote. Rule #1: Bait safe. Not baiting safe because you think you can "kick the shit" out of the scammer is dangerous not only to yourself, but to the people around around you and to other baiters. Like it has been said, chances that a scammer would track you down and try to hurt you are remote, but it is a possibility. If they do come, do you honestly think a lone guy would knock on your door, say "BAD BAITER OOOOOO" and wait for you to throw the first punch? Or would they come in a gang of six, jump you in the middle of the night with baseball bats or possibly gun you down in the street? I'm guessing the latter.

Gmail is only anonymous if you use it correctly.

It is a good idea to learn what Baiting Safe entails.
Security is an attitude, not a software.

Probably some of the worst advice I've ever heard.

While checking accounts for new baiters I've managad to find out far more than you might think. Including tracing a couple to their home street address.

Anything and everything you do on the web is watched attentively by silent mindless machines...
Everywhere you go and everyone you talk to leaves a record.

There is no such thing as "perfectly safe."
There is "Reasonably Safe" and there is "risky."

Risky behaviour does not automatically mean that lads will parade to your door...
Safe behaviour does not mean that someone who really wants to find you will let a silly thing like company privacy policy stop them.

It is dangerous to put too much faith in a software or service for your security. Your behaviour and attitude are far more important factors.

I don't work for anyone quite that mysterious... or maybe I do and I just don't know it, I'm not sure what I'm cleared to know. Maybe if I told myself I'd have to kill myself right afterward.

I'm just a convenience store clerk in Langley... and if you order a 5 flavor mixed slushy and a Slim-Jim meat stick I have instructions to hit the little secret elevator button in the back of the slushy machine.

I know I have a GSR rating... but I don't know what it is. Never saw the point in asking since I wasn't ever supposed to know anything anyway.
I can only assume that I'm cleared to be told much less than I need to know but only on a need-to-know-less basis. So if I asked what my GSR was, I would probably be told not to ask.

If you think that posting is scarey? Google Computers, networking, nsa, carnivore, hkey backdoor... Then read the Revelations of St. John, drink a fifth of rye whiskey, smoke a pack or Lucky's....
