I wonder if you have actually read Article 303? There is absolutely no requirement in it for money to be airlifted. It was designed to help countries retrieve tax revenues from ex-pats. It would cost a fortune to airlift this money. All I need to do is to serve you with a Writ of Monetary Transfer from our courts. This would release the money in the same way as the letter of administration would have. Then you can simply transfer the fund into the government accounts.

The courts will re-open on Monday, so I will submit an application over the weekend. With any luck, the money should be with us by Friday.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.

Guys... I used to work for Barclays in the UK and I must say that the bank details they gave look legit - the sort-code is deffinately in the correct format (starts with a 20) and the Swift code is correct too. Would it not be possible to get this account signed up for all manner of nasty, expensive direct-debits?
