hey, been getting emails from these scum for some time but this is the first time i am going to try and waste there time.

here is the following email that i got and what i replyed

boxes can be release to you by the security company as soon as i send to
you the relevant document covering this fund.
Upon receipt of the two trunk boxes, I will come over to your country to

the money : 50% to me and 40% to you, while 10% will be used on expenses
incurred. I have all the necessary legal documents that can back up any
claim we may make with the Security Company.

Welcome to the eater; have a good look round and make yourself at home!

Good excuse for not taking phone calls, but there is actually not much point going to any effort with your first reply, because the lads never read them properly. I would bait it straight for the first few emails and then try to throw him off-script.

As one who was a noob not so long ago, may I offer a few other suggestions?

* Have a read of the stickies, the FAQs, and some of the published baits to get a feel for what goes on here
* Make sure you are completely anonymous and safe before you start baiting
* Please do a search before posting a new topic or question - all the obvious questions have already been asked and answered
* Get yourself a mentor here for assistance with getting started.
* Enjoy your time here! Laughing

Looks like a good start to me.

I think eight is right about the first reply, usually as long as you show interest, they ignore everything else that you say.

Having said that, it might make you more believeable if you establish some background, which you can always remind him about later. It might even be an opportunity to give him a slap for not remembering things that you've told him as the bait progresses.

If it's your first try and nothing comes of it don't worry, the "hit" rate is quite low for successful baits in my small experience. Some lads suss you out, others drop you if they've got something that looks more lucrative going on. Hopefully, some of them get arrested!

Hang in there, that's my advice. And good luck with all of your baits.

It seems to me lots of the lads REALLY want to get your information (name, address, etc.) and just won't go off script until they do. I usually give them the information pretty easily (so they can do up their fake documents which they seem to love), THEN I start with lots of questions, requests, etc.

I think they feel no one can resist their wonderful documents and that they have you just one e-mail away from sending them money.

However, each one is a little diiferent in how they react.
