High end audio scam

Please be aware there is an on-going scam involving audio and video equipment. The scammer uses established classified audio sites in the US and Europe and many of the fraudulent ads can be found if using a search site like www. hifishark .com. The scammer typically will claim they are from Spain and may even contact you using a cell phone with a registered Spanish phone number and registered Spanish bank account. Here's the info on one of the scammers:

This scammer may go by the name of Valentine (middle initial).

If any money is exchanged they will follow up and provide what looks like a valid shipping site and tracking number with the name of "Pace Logistics" or "Pacefast Logistics" or something similar.
If you search the shipping company they will come up with a valid looking website with active phone numbers. Here's what one of the sites looks like: https://www. pacefastlogistics. com/. But if you attempt to call the phone numbers no one will ever pick up. The shipping company will use valid addresses but their company doesn't really exist, it's only a front for the whole scam.

I was taken by these a**holes for some money and was able to recover some of it by the scammer's helpful Spanish bank freezing their account.

We don't post email addresses or websites here unless the scam has been verified, but I'll leave the domains for now for those who would like to investigate whether the sites are fake.
