There is a website that pretends to be Optus in an attempt to get victim's email and password. Enough people have interacted with these emails to have them in inbox, rather than jump/spam. link redacted - Padme is the website in question. Would be nice if someone could either flood their records with fake data so any data already entered is as good as useless as well as take down their website by finding and contacting who hosts it.

Don't bother reporting it at scamwarners, they don't deal with phishing sites.

While we have a section of our forum where people talk about "fake sites", what we deal with here is advance fee fraud. So, in that context, websites that are being used as tools to commit this type of fraud, be it to sell fake gold, pets, or solicit investments, etc. Phishing sites, malware, and other illegal dealings done on the web fall outside the scope of what we handle here.

That said, I did have a quick look at the hosting of the site (I didn't visit the site itself) and it's hosted on google domains and digital ocean - a very odd choice for someone looking to commit cyber crime. It is what you'd expect to see as hosting for someone building/testing web applications. I'm half wondering if you stumbled across someone pen-testing. At any rate, the site is already tagged on WOT so I suspect it's not long for this world either way.

Separately.... Flooding a site, dodgy or not, with requests, db records, overwhelming traffic, etc. is, in many cases illegal, and not something we endorse or would discuss here.
