Okay, bare with me, but I promise you if anything you will laugh, but I am also seeking some advice as to where this is going, and if people on this page have any thoughts/comments!

First, context. I’m an Australian / Aboriginal artist from Western Australia. Last week, I received an email in my junk mail from a CLEAR scammer. I thought, let’s just see where this goes, so I emailed back.

The responses I started to get were absolutely hilarious. So hilarious in fact that I started to animate their responses into a series of episodes I call “Am Katie” (Katie is the alias of the scammer) on my Instagram highlights. The progression of this thread of emails is absolutely astonishing.

Basically, same old scam I’d suppose - military woman found big loot box of cash and wants to send it to her love - (me). The correspondence between us has now picked up quite a lot of traction from my followers, and I really want to know - what to do next.

You need to check this out. SOMEONE with good knowledge of where this is going / what to do would be highly appreciated at this point.

Welcome to 419Eater.
Maybe you'll be a bit disappointed about whats going to follow but the next thing you'll need to do is to stop all communication with the scammer! This is not safe baiting! The scammer has your real email address. You don't want any connection between the scammer and your real life!!. No addresses, Facebook, twitter accounts... that can lead to you.

As above - never bait from a real emal account, it's too risky

I don't want to hijack this thread but what are some safe email providers? Currently I'm using Proton with all fake information, is Proton ok or are there other suggestions.
