Back after several years. A number of reasons but the main one is that a bastard scammer has just taken a flat hunting friend of mine for £2k. Evil or Very Mad

good to have you back. Normally I'd do a little rant about safe baiting, but you seem experienced enough to know what you are doing.

Sorry to hear about your flatmate. When it comes that close, I can imagine that you feel angry (amongst other emotions) However, since you mention it: 'revenge baiting' is not something that is recommended, so it's probably best if you don't target the scammer that got your flatmate (although I understand the desire to do so)

Thanks for the warning but I have baited before.
A scammer got her to pay a £2000 deposit before viewing an imaginary flat. So no scope for a bait.
A friend not a flatmate, and I was told too late to warn her.

It's a shame when you can't do anything about it anymore.
