If he spent less money on the hotel he could save up for a nice bus ticket somewhere, but we haven't gotten to that part yet. I get the impression that he received just shy of enough money for the Casablanca trip, or at least a decent portion of it, and since in comparison going to Lome is cheap, he's willing to spend a bit more than he's used to. Either that, or he's blowing through money he doesn't have because of the reimbursement policy. Either works for us.

No, he's just stupid. You were very clear in that the meeting time was at 11, and that time was not when the driver was supposed to leave. I'm thinking that tomorrow, since his hotel bill allegedly expires then, we encourage him to leave for destination #2 tomorrow afternoon once Joojoo needs to find another border crossing.

A few months back he gave me that website and told me it proved he had chicken farming experience. He said his partners gave up. It had no chicken connections I could see. So he doesn't hide it, but the connection makes no sense.
Whatever the connection, it won't help much in Lome.
