This lad has been popping in & out of my inbox for a while now. All the money I tried to send him was lost when another "scammer" talked me into handing over my password, and now Kelvin shows up after a few months of angry silence.

I don't know if it was his bad grammar or just my mood lately, but I replied with:

He was silent for a day, and then I got this delicious rant:

Wait... Mary?? Who the heck is Mary?? Also to be fair, I've sent him a ton of "drunk" ramblings over the past year. Not gonna lie. I gave it another day and then wrote

What the fork does he want your password for? To contact that chopper from before or to harvest your contact list to get more vics maybe? It's amazing how casually these idiots will ask for stuff. Especially love lads: "hey baby, snap a pic of your credit card for me and email the 3-4 digit number typed on the back. Hope your day was great! Send me nudes." Rolling Eyes

He's asked for my passwords many times before. That's why I rub salt in his wounds by telling him I gave my password to other scammers. I'm sure he wants to use my account to open dating site profiles - I suspect that's how he opened the profile he used to contact me with in the first place.

Hmmm. If it wasn't for the risk that he'd take over the email account to create fake dating profiles I would create a decoy account for him to use. The decoy would have a contact list that was all baiters. He'd think himself a mastermind and try to start scamming folks from the contact list. It probably wouldn't work out for him. There are a few baits that did the same thing more or less. I think the Gomer gang assigned email accounts to lads. Not sure if fake contacts were involved but very few lads bothered to change the password. The baiter who created the account would check the activity and to no one's surprise many lads started blasting scam formats within hours of their first login. They really have no shame whatsoever.

The safer way is to introduce him to my "friends" by cc'ing them all on an email together. It would be a really bad idea to gift a scammer an email account!
