Hi All! New here and pumped that this is a community of people who like spending some spare time messing with dirty lowlifes.

I got started when I hung on the line for one of the "loan consolidation" offers - I was stuck in traffic and had the bluetooth going, so I figured "what the hell, give it a shot".
It ended with some guy telling me to "crawl back into my mother's #$#$" ...needless to say, hilarity ensured and I'm hooked.

So I stumbled upon this forum and subscribed a dummy email AOL account to the spam list (great service) and have fired up with this one (below).
Does it count?

Welcome to Eater McCheese.

The loan consolidation phone call is outside the scope of what we deal with here and could possibly have been a "legitimate" business, but the email is 100% 419 scam.

There will be fees involved in getting your investment.

Yep - now you just have to decide what business you're running that needs investment

- Clothing Line based on the Emperor's new clothes
- The static pen, where you have to move the paper not the pen
- Door knockers for on the inside of the door

I would reverse him back with "I am interested, tell me more."

I would not spend too much time crafting a first response. Instead, please look through our "Stickies" and some of our tutorials. You can sign up for a mentor.

After the initial email responses you could send him a junk file labeled Business Plan and would not be surprised when the lad cannot open it. You can Google Fake File Generator or send me a PM and I will send you a link. The lad wants you to spend some time and energy building a business plan as a method of getting you firmly on the hook. We try our best to make the mugu do the work.

I have used Flux Capacitors, Space Sprockets, widgets and TriLithium Crystals in my baits and anything on our website is free to use for your baiting.

Thanks all for the warm welcome! Good to know that this fit (thought it did, but couldn't find one quite like it in the threads). I'll continue the bait.

I have been crawling the various stickies, tutorials, and various threads - good stuff! So much to read... The junk file generators, fake WU receipts, etc. are all great resources.

I probably jumped the gun on sending a junk file business plan and spreadsheet. Good call on delaying the file send (next time!) until later. I was betting that there was a good enough chance the lad wouldn't even open the files, but either pass me on to another person or say "oh yes, this looks incredible!". But alas - he returned with a "cannot open file" response. I let him sit for a few days and will reply with some urgency that I'm further funded than when he initially contacted me and... yadda, yadda, yadda.

The product: a travel pillow that wraps around your head and has VR goggles built-in. Good times to be had, I hope.

It's always the lads fault. Blame him for having bad equipment. Why isn't he even capable of opening a simple file? Have him trying to find a solution for opening the file for a while. It works perfectly on your computer right? There must be something wrong on his end.
