Archie makes some executive decisions about the fundraiser decorations:
Quote: |
Good day Mr Roger, I sincerely appreciate your effort to ensuring that the fund raising is successful.
I prefer that you use any color of your choice, I don't any color in mind.
The paper for the fund raising should read "Fund raising for flood victims"
May the old Gods continually be with you
Thank you. |
Roger asks about the "assistant" who wrote out the recipes:
Quote: |
Are you sure you don't care what color we use? Their is no color that you proffer more then others? May be I will just ask young Susan to pick a color. Your massage for the sign makes since, and I will look into how much it coasts to get the sign printed.
Also, Brother Eric just remanded me of something I was going to ask you. You said your assistance wrote out the recipes for you and cavorted the measurements, but you didn't said who this assistance is? Did you mansion her before and I just missed it? Who is she? Does she want to cavort to our Church too? |
We have some concerns that Archie may be using a romance scam victim to write the recipes. But at least the handwriting is different from that on the Exodus scans he sent us, so we are pretty confident he did those himself.
Archie deflects by telling Roger how successful the Church will be once he is a member:
Quote: |
Good day Mr Roger, my assistant is ready to convert yet. (I think he means she isn't ready to convert) She is actually waiting for me to complete my membership process before she starts hers.
Like I told Pastor Moses, I have been talking to different people about the old Gods in my little way. And they are willing to become a member. But they are waiting for me to complete my membership process.
You don't have have an idea of how massive this church will be after I have been given the mandate to build here and start a church.
Thousands of members will be converted in one year trust me. (Ambitious lad, isn't he? Too bad all of us know it's bullshit)
If only hope you people can see the future of the church over here, you will assist me to complete my membership process with the money that is needed.
But I am still faithful to the process of church. |
Roger will press him a little further about the assistant again when he replies. |

Is it ok for non members to be typing up recipes for the church or does he need to do it again in his own hand? |

FINALLY he has selected a site for the monument:
Quote: |
Good day Pastor, I acknowledge your mentorship role towards my membership process.
Here are the pictures of the monument site. It's close to a university in this area. In that way we can convert young generation into the church of the old Gods.
Remember that I told you that the church need young people for future sustainability.
Thanks |
I'm sure that puddle will cause the Elders to have some concerns regarding drainage, but all-in-all it looks like a fine site for our holy Monument and Bench! |

Yes just think ahead, that site has so much potential. Let's move on with it.
Update: could that puddle be incorporated as a footbath ( Pool of Ablution ) for those approaching the monument? Perhaps that might be taking things a bit too far though. |

Roger pushes Archie a bit more about the assistant:
Quote: |
Well, I am very pleased to hear how exited you are to spread the Holy Word of the Old Gods after you become a member! I always knew you would become a great and famous member of the Church! That's why we want to make sure your membership is completed as soon as possible. (We don't) But that is up to you with how fast you complete your Monument of Faith.
I am still very curious about your assistance, cause you didn't really answered my question. What is her name? Does she live near you in the same town, or somewhere else? If she is going to be our Sister in the Church some day, we must know more about her. |
Archie is still not revealing much:
Quote: |
Good day, she lives in a nearby city.
When I told her about the church of the old Gods, she showed interest in being a member. But she wants me to complete my membership process before she starts hers. So also other people that I have spoken to about the church.
There is a great future for the church here. |
Roger will follow up on some of the loose threads tomorrow. |

Hello my son,
Thank you for the pictures of your site. I was so excited to see them, I couldn't wait until Sunday Services, I called an immediate meeting with the Elders today to show them the glorious site that you have selected!
We are all in agreement, the close proximity to the University will be very important and help us to gain more fallowers to our faith.
We did have one concern regarding drainage. We noticed a large puddle in the picture. You might need to construct a small ditch or moat-like structure to protect the Monument and Bench from flooding. Do you think you can make the area safe for the Monument without the risk of flooding?
If you are confident that the water will not be a problem, the we fell that this is going to be a glorious and holy site for your Monument my son! Tell me, have you gotten funding from your friends to begin construction? We notice in your pictures that there is already a large pile of gravel and dirt, so it looks like you have already gotten some of the construction materials in places!
We are very excited. You should let Brother Roger know that you have selected a site if you have not done so yet. He will be most exited to see your location. Also how is the Bake Sale coming along? I look forward to hearing from you soonest.
Pastor Moses |
More whining about money:
Quote: |
Good day Pastor, the site is a perfect place for the construction of the faith monument. The puddle was caused by a little storm that occurred before the pictures was taken.
I can also build a drainage round it to avoid flooding in the future.
Honestly Pastor, my friend couldn't help me with funds, I have spent every money that I have in my bank account.
I was able to buy the land, little sand and gravel and paid tax.
I am completely out of cash and I don't know what to do.
As you can see from the pictures, the sand and gravel won't enough. I will still have to buy more, also sacks and cement.
Nobody is willing to lend me money, I so confused right now.
I have been in touch with Mr Roger concerning the bake sale, we are making arrangements towards it.
Thank you. |

Roger asks some more about Archie's lady friend:
Quote: |
Oh ok, which city around you? And you still didn't told me what her name is? How did you met her?
Also, I just realized that you didn't answered my question about weather we should use crate paper or streams for the decorations. We are getting very close to the date for the bake sale, we need to make sure everything is taken care of correctly. So I need you to please answer my questions the first time I ask them. |
Archie chooses the decorations, and tells Roger about his friend Anita:
Quote: |
The lady's name is Anita, we meet in seminar that we both attended sometime ago.
I would like you to use papers for the decorations to avoid too much spending. (No worries, there's risk of that!)
Also I want to announce to you that I have gotten the site for the monument and I have sent it to Pastor Moses.
But I am not starting construction now due to lack of funds.
I have already told Pastor about it. |
Roger tells Archie that he knows someone named Anita too:
Quote: |
Oh, Anita is a lovely name! You know, I actuary know another Anita. She is a secretary at another Church in the area, and I meet her sometimes at the Interfaith Conferences. She's such a lovely young woman, well endowed with tremendous gifts and very dedicated to her Faith. But anyways, what seminar did you attended with your Anita? She sounds wonderful. I look forward to welcoming her into the folds of our Church too once your a member.
Oh, I also wanted to tell you, we had another meeting of the Church fund raising committee after Services today, and now that we have made a decision on the decorations, I think we are all ready to have the bake sale next week! I am so exited, I just know we will raise a lot of money for your town and help all those people who were effected by the flood. |
I couldn't resist throwing in an inside reference to Bware's character Anita, who features heavily in baits like this one: https://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=271883 |

Moses keeps the pressure on him:
Quote: |
Hello my son,
The Elders do very much like the look of your construction site. However, they have great concerns over how slowly you have begun construction. They are concerned that perhaps your love from the Church is not as strong as they had hoped.
I have explained to them that you are having difficulties with funds and I hope that they understand. But they are getting restless and concerned.
You see, they have already set aside funds to give you once your membership is completed, which is a very sizable amount of money to cover the cost of the Church construction and also payment for your salary as a new Pastor and also salaries for other paid members to go out and spread the word of the Old Gods.
I must urge you to do everything in your power to begin construction as soon as possible. You have a small amount of dirt and gravel right now. Just a few sandbags and you could easily begin. You should be able to get a small loan that would cover the cost of construction easily. Remember, upon completion of membership we will then be allowed to send you funds which will easily pay back your costs.
I understand that things take time, but the Elders must see some progress. Aside from the pictures of the location, the Elders have not seen any progress from you in over a month. And they are growing concerned about your devolution and loyalty to the Church.
Please set everyone's mind at ease. Please get started as soon as you can.
Pastor Moses |

Hilts floats an opportunity for Archie to get rich quick:
Quote: |
Hey dude, you still looking to make some money real fucking quick so you can build that pyramid for those church assholes? Cause if so, I got a a great lead for you! It's a low risk job, and I'm hearing you can make $10,000-$20,000 USD easy, for just a day's worth of work. You interested?
Listen, my buddy from business school is a director with western union in Africa, and he told me he's gonna try and pull some kind of job picking up expired MTCNs. Apparently theirs some good money to be made just picking up the transfers that some dumb bastards just strait up forgot about. I don't know all the details, but he said he's looking to partner with a scammer cause you sons of bitches know western union the best of goddam anybody, and I told him no shit, I know just the guy!
So, if your interested, I'll give him your email address, and tell him your good for the job. His name is Hendley, and he's a real ball buster, understand? Not a real fucking sweet heart like me. All business. He doesn't fuck around when he's working a job, so don't try to pull any bullshit.
If your not interested, that's cool too, but than next time don't fucking try to tell me I don't do anything for you, ok? |
Archie is interested:
Quote: |
Hey buddy, this sounds like some real deal. I am in for it.
I am very interested in the business. |
Of course he's interested. 10 grand for a day of work? We should all be so lucky.
Hilts warns him not to screw up:
Quote: |
Ok good shit dude. I'll let Hendley know your down for it and he should contact you soon to let you know what you gotta do.
Just make sure you don't fuck the job up. Hendley is a powerful bastard, and like I said, he doesn't fuck around. I'm putting my rep on the line for your ass, so you better not make me look bad. |
Archie is confident:
Quote: |
I assure you that I won't mess up.
Trust me. |
Hendley introduces himself:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - I understand you are Hilts's friend in Togo. He said you need a way to make some money fast. I have a plan where we can make a little over $20,000.00 USD in one day and I need a trustworthy guyman in Togo to make it work, so maybe we can help each other.
I'm sure Hilts told you what my position is in the company here, and maybe he also told you what I do on the side. That's why I need to be very careful. You don't get to the top and stay on top through sloppiness. Hilts did say you are trustworthy, but I need to be sure. You could be a plant from the FBI, or maybe Hilts has turned informant. Or maybe the Uzumbo gang are trying to come after me again. I can't be sure. So I need to check your background before I tell you the plan. I'm sure you understand. One can never be too careful these days.
First, I need to know exactly where you are located, and I need to know your real name, or at least the name you use to pick up transfers. Along with the background check, I also need to make sure you are not flagged in the system for 419, before I have you pick up transfers.
Get back to me right away with that. |
Archie asks Hilts if Hendley is legit:
Quote: |
Good day buddy, Your friend Bob sent me a message few hours ago.
I need to ask you a question, do you know Bob in person? |
I'm surprised he didn't address the fact that Hendley thinks he is in Togo, when I'm pretty positive that the lad is from Nigeria. No matter.
Hilts vouches for Hendley:
Quote: |
Yeah dude, I know him personally. I told you, we went to business school together, and we've kept in contact since then.
He's legit, don't worry. If he asks you to do something, theirs always a good reason for it. Glad to hear he contacted you about the job. Let me know how it goes. |
Let's see how much trust he has in Hilts's recommendation. |

Good day Pastor, please I want to demand that I get the addresses of the church, your home address and phone number also Susan email and phone number.
I believe we need to talk on phone as well, to foster our communication.
I need to hear your voice. |
How would you like to deal with this Big X? I'd be willing to call him if we need to. Sounds like something is on his mind... |

^ I usually avoid talking to the lads on the phone as much as I can, but if you think it's necessary to contact him as Moses, that would be ok with me.
Archie responds to Hendley's offer:
Quote: |
Hi Handley, I'm Hilts friend. I am very much interested in the business offer that you brought.
I still have doubts about your true identity, cos on the Internet it's difficult to trust people.
My real name is Edwards from Nigeria, I promise to make our business relationship the best you can ever think of.
Tell me the details of this business offer and the role that I will be playing. |
After Hendley asks the lad what he knows about the job already, Archie sends this:
Quote: |
He told me that you are his friend from business school and that you are director of Western Union in Africa. Is that correct?
The Business
He said that you will need who can help you pick up transfer, that you will be reclaiming some expired mtcn that probably must have been forgotten.
If that is the deal, can we get down to business? |
Sounds like he is in a hurry. Hendley elaborates on the WIMP plan:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - yes, everything you have said is correct. Hilts is an old friend, and I was pleased that he knew someone who could help me with this job. He may be a bit vulgar for my tastes, but he is a good man, and very reliable. He has recommended you very highly.
OK, let me tell you more about my plan. Every year, millions of people around the world send transfers to each other by Western Union. Most of those transfers get picked up, but some don't. Sometimes the receiver doesn't come to get it, or they don't know they were sent money, or they die, or they leave the country. Whatever the reason, the money is never picked up.
What do you think happens to those transfers? They stay in the system, and after they have been there for over a year, our system automatically marks them as dormant. We call them orphan MTCNs. And they add up to a lot of money. In Togo alone last year, we had about $2 million dollars worth of orphan MTCNs.
So here's the plan - as a director level officer for Togo, I have the ability to activate orphan MTCNs in the system, so that they can be picked up. But it would be very suspicious if I went to pick up the money myself, or if I activated all of them at once. That's where you come in. I activate about $20,000-$50,000 dollars worth of dormant MTCNs, and give you the needed information to pick them up. You go to the Western Union office at any bank anywhere in Togo and pick them up all at once, then we split the money.
Does that sound like a good plan to you? Do you think you could do your part in it correctly? Can you think of anything to make the plan better? I value your input on this. |
Of course, Archie is not in Togo, he is in Nigeria. He asks whether the pickup must be done in Togo:
Quote: |
Hi Handley, it's sure sound like a beautiful plan to me, i want to assure you that you can trust me on this 100%.
Here is my suggestion, after you have activated the "orphan mtcn" can it be picked up outside Togo? For instance, Nigeria?
$20,000-$50,000 is a huge amount of money, one can attract suspicion from the the bank if such huge amount is withdrawn in one bank.
I have close friend who works with Western Union and he can help with the pick up successfully.
When are we starting the operation? |
Hendley was under the impression that the lad was based in Togo:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - no, the orphan MTCNs must be picked up in the country they were sent to, which in this case is Togo. I am somewhat confused about why you are asking if you can pick them up in Nigeria? Aren't you based in Togo? I told Hilts I needed someone in Togo.
Also, don't worry about there being a problem with the bank getting suspicious. I have a bank manager in place in Lome who is in on my plan, and he will be the one giving you the funds. I have worked with him before, and he is reliable.
However, I would prefer that you not involve anyone else in this business. While I am sure your friend is trustworthy, I do not want anybody else in the company to be a part of the plan, for security reasons. The more people who know about this, the more that can go wrong. (Of course, it will go wrong anyway) You must be the one to pick up the orphan MTCNs. Do you understand me? |
Archie lies and says he is in Togo:
Quote: |
Alright Handley, I'm based on Togo.
I now get your point, let's keep it safe within ourselves.
When are we beginning? |
I suspect he will try to get someone else to pick up the money for him. That won't fly. Hendley will reply on Monday with the details of the plan.
Meanwhile, Archie is pleased to know that the bake sale will be happening soon:
Quote: |
Dear Roger, I am so excited to hear that date has been set for the fund raising.
I hope that enough funds will be raised to care for the flood victims.
I appreciate you for your concern and mentorship role.
I promise to complete my membership process in due time, it's may take time but I will complete it trust me.
Please be patience with me. |
Roger offers his encouragement:
Quote: |
Of coarse, I am very happy to be your mentor and guild you as you come into the folds of our Church to safe your immoral soul and walk in the Light of the Old Gods. I know your doing your best to complete your membership precess quickly, but it's not me you need to worry about. The Elders need to know that your taking your responsibilities seriously, and they are not always very patience about it. So I would make sure you don't waist any time unnecessarily. Try to get it done as soon as possible.
I am exited about the fund raiser too, I just know that we will be able to raise a lot of money that will go to very good use to help people in your country! I think it will also be a lot of fun for the Church members too. Young Susan has already started baking the cakes and other items, and I am sure they will turn up well. What better way to spread happiness in the community then to sell delicious cakes? And of coarse, it is all for a good cause! |
Roger will inform him of the results of the bake sale tomorrow. |

Hendley tells Archie he needs to prove that he is in Lome:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - my apologies for the delay, but I do not work weekends. We can start as soon as you are in position. Are you based in Lome? That is where the job will be.
One more minor thing I need for preparation - I need a picture of you, so my man in the bank will be able to recognize you when you enter. It would not do well if he gave the money to the wrong person!
And so I know you are actually in Lome, please take a picture of yourself in front of a recognizable landmark in town. The Independence Monument would be fine, as would any road sign that shows you are in Lome. Once you send me that, we can begin. |
Archie asks again if he can do the job in Nigeria:
Quote: |
Hello Robert, I really want us to trust each other if we want to be good business allies. I will appreciate if the job can be done outside Togo. I can assure you that it will be 100% safe.
I need to be honest with you, I am in Togo presently, I left Togo 2week ago to inspect my housing project in Nigeria.
I won't be back until 25 of August. (I'm fine with waiting until then, except I think he is lying anyway) If you don't mind I would like to have your phone number and the phone number of the bank manager.
Remember that you suggested my input in the business, and I am offering it in my comfort zone.
Please let me know if you are comfortable with my suggestion. |
Hendley explains why this is not possible:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - I would like to accommodate you, but I really cannot. I do not have the authority to activate orphan MTCNs outside of Togo, and my bank manager partner for the job is in Lome. Therefore the job cannot be done anywhere except in Lome.
However, it sounds to me like you are not actually in Togo, and that is why you are trying to get me to move the job to Nigeria. I want you to be honest with me. Are you actually in Togo? If not, can you get to Togo in a reasonable amount of time? |
Now Archie wants a phone call. Fat chance of that.
Meanwhile, Roger tells Archie on Sunday evening that the bake sale was a smashing success:
Quote: |
The bake sale was a great success! The community really came together and pored in their hearts to help you and your community. We still don't have all of the donations collected together, but we have Brother Eric working very hard on totaling everything up. He is our parish accountant, you see. Base on what he told me, I already know we raised more than $150,000 dollars! Isn't that wonderful? I will update you once we know how much we will be able to donate.
How is it going with your Monument of Faith? Have you began construction on it yet? |
He hasn't replied to that yet. I'm surprised, I would have thought he would be more excited about it. |

Hendley tells Archie that a phone call is out of the question:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - forgive me, but are you completely mad? You want me to speak with you on the phone about a criminal conspiracy? Don't you know that the US government tracks all phone calls by Americans outside the country? I thought Hilts said you were a professional?
Honestly, I am starting to have some doubts about whether you are right for this job. You are making excuses about not being in Togo, and now you are making silly suggestions that would get me arrested immediately. I am not impressed. I will have to speak to Hilts about this. |
Archie wants assurances:
Quote: |
Apologies Friend, I don't mean to ask such for such suggestions.
I want to be sure of who I am communicating with through email.
We both have trust issues here (not really, I know exactly who I am dealing with), Yes Hilts introduce me to you because he trusted me that I can help you with the job.
Yes I can 100%, but it's so unfortunate now that I have gotten out of Lome. I will return if you can assure me that the business will be 100% guarantee.
Let's face fact, how am I sure you are telling me the truth?
We both need this money that is laying lonely in your database.
Can you assure me that the business is genuine and that my returning to Lome won't be a set up or wasted time? |
Hendley is happy to provide reassurance:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - yes of course I can assure you that the business is genuine. I am a serious and busy man, and I have no reason to waste time - yours or mine. Everything I do has a profit motive, and wasting your time would make me no money, so why would I do that? Furthermore, I would not risk my position at the company here if I did not think this was a quick, safe, and easy way to make money. So be rest assured, you can trust me - and you will defiantly not regret working with me on this job.
How soon can you be in Lome? Remember to send me the proof that you are in position when you get here. |
Lads never seem to understand why we bait when it makes no money for us. I am using that to my advantage here.
Meanwhile, Archie is pleased to hear about the bake sale going well. But he wants phone calls:
Quote: |
Good day Mr Roger, I'm so excited to hear from you that the bake sale was successful. It's a good news indeed.
I can't wait to know how much in total that was raised from the bake sale. And also how soon they will be donated for the purpose at which it was raised. (I'm sure this is the more important part to him)
Mr Roger, I really need to have a phone conversation with you, Pastor Moses, Susan, Bro Dan. I want to call them to appreciate them for the good work they are been doing towards my community.
Please, I will need their phone numbers and bro Dan and Susan phone number and emails.
The monument is not at the construction stage yet, I am still unable to raise the fund that will enable me continue. |
Roger will have questions tomorrow. |

Archie asks Hendley for an advance on the money:
Quote: |
Hi Handley, I understand we both need this money very importantly. If I have to to be in Lome as soon as possible, you have to make some financial sacrifice. Which every business man does in this kind of job, this is to show that you are committed to the job and that you wouldn't want to waste your time and money a job that is not certain.
If you want me to be in Lome in a time that you wish, send me money through western union or bank account. The money will be for my transportation and hotel. Once the business get started you can subtract it from my own share of the pick up.
I really hope that you understand how this business works, you don't trust until you see prove. In this case you have the job, I am the message, you should make the financial sacrifice.
I hope you are comfortable with the idea?
If you are not, let me know other suggestions that you feel will be fine for my coming.
Note: I am as genuine as Hilts recommended me, all you have to do is to trust me and everything will go successful. |
Hendley interprets this as Archie trying to scam him:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - now you are asking me for money in advance? Through Western Union no less! And I am to take it on faith that you will use that money to hold up your end of the deal? How is that different from one of your scams? I suppose I should have expected this from a guyman, but Hilts assured me you were a professional and I wouldn't see any of this nonsense. It appears he was mistaken, and now I know what to think of Hilts's judgment. He will be hearing about this from me.
No matter. It is clear you are not serious about working properly with me on this job. I will find someone else to do the pick up. Good luck in your future endeavors. |
Archie asks Hendley to reconsider:
Quote: |
Hold up Handley, I can do the jo. I only suggested a way that I feel would make us have a biding order.
What's is the penny money that I ask you compare to what I stand to benefit from the entire job? Think about it.
Don't tell Hilts yet, let's figure out how this job can be excellently done without hindrance.
Are you there? |
Hendley thinks about it, and decides he doesn't really need Archie:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - maybe you should consider that question yourself. What is the small amount of money required for you to travel to Togo, compared to how much you will gain from this job?
While you are doing that, maybe you should also consider that you need me more than I need you. How difficult is it for me to find another guyman who wants to make a quick $20,000.00 and won't ask me for ridiculous things? And how difficult is it for you to find another WU director who can activate orphan MTCNs?
First rule of business, son - recognize when you have leverage - and more importantly, when you don't. |
Archie folds completely, and asks for another chance:
Quote: |
I am so sorry Mr Handley, I promise that I will do everything possible to show up in Lome as soon as I can.
Do I still a chance in the business? |
I'm going to let him sweat until tomorrow, then agree to give him the chance.
Meanwhile, Hilts gets wind of Archie's tomfoolery, and he is very annoyed that Archie is damaging his reputation:
Quote: |
Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you? Hendley just told me that your trying to fuck him on the western union job! He said you told him a bunch of goddam lies and than you tried to scam him. Are you fucking serious? What the fuck were you thinking?
I told you Hendley was a serious man! I told you not to fuck around with him! I told you not to pull your usual bullshit! I had to fucking beg Hendley to give you that job, and now you've made me look like a fucking chump! My rep is gonna take a hit cause of your dumb ass!
Jesus, this is the last time I do a fucking favor for you! You could of made some easy money, but in stead you had to go and throw it away by being an asshole. I hope your happy with yourself, shitbag! |
Archie tries to justify it:
Quote: |
Come on buddy, you know that I don't fuck around people. Handley don't understand around with money.
You know how important I need money in other to build the pyramid for the church.
Please tell Handley not to be angry that I will make sure I will be with him soon.
I'm so sorry if mess up your reputation. |
Hilts sets him straight:
Quote: |
Now your gonna try and tell me that Hendley doesn't understand money as well as you do? Are you fucking listening to yourself? Hendley is a fucking superstar. He graduated at the top of our business school class, and now he's a successful director at a big time company. Who the fuck are you? Some small time scammer in Nigeria who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground? Your just digging yourself deeper here.
Look, I know you need money for our job with those church idiots. But that's why I hooked you up with Hendley for this job. You could of made all the money you needed and than some more over that if you just didn't act like a goddam moron. I put my neck out on the line for you, and you fucked me over.
If Hendley gives you another chance, you better not fuck it up again. If he asks you to do something, you fucking do it. And for the love of fucking Christ, don't try to scam him again. I know that's like fucking breathing for your dumb ass, but don't fucking do it! |
Archie says he wants a second chance:
Quote: |
I have apologize to him and I hope he give me a second chance. |
Hilts reminds him what is at stake:
Quote: |
Yeah, well I hope he does too. Cause I don't know how else your gonna get the cash you need to build that stupid ass pyramid thing for those church morons. |
Again, just to make him sweat. I think he will eventually do it.
Roger, quite oblivious to all this plotting, updates Archie on the take from the bake sale:
Quote: |
I am surprised to see you say that you have not even started the Monument of Faith yet! Why is this stage of your membership taking you so long? I thought you would of at least started the base of the monument by now!
Regarding the phone calls, I will ask Pastor Moses if it is ok for me to give you his phone number. Some people don't like their phone numbers spread around too much, so I think I should ask him first.
Brother Eric told me he thinks the money from the fund raiser may actuary be closer to $175,000.00 dollars then what I told you before $150,000.00 dollars. He is also working threw the tax imprecations of the funds we raised. I am not sure on the details, but I think he said that since your not a member of the Church, their may be some IRS regulations on how we can send the money to you and your charity their. If you were a member of the Church it would be much easier, but your not yet. I will talk to him again and let you know what he says. |
Naturally, if Archie wants his money there will be some forms he needs to fill out. |

Hendley gives him a second chance:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - yes, I will give you a second chance, but you are on a short leash from now on. Act accordingly.
When will you be in position in Lome? |
Archie is on the job:
Quote: |
I will let you know when I get there. |
Hendley wants a little more certainty:
Quote: |
Hi Paul - can you give me some idea of when that will be? I would like to be able to prepare so I can out my plan into action as soon as you are in position.
I am glad you are cooperating now. I think you will be very happy you made that decision. |
I'm hoping he does it soon.
Meanwhile, Archie complains to Roger about his lack of money:
Quote: |
Good day Mr Roger, I never intend to slow down this stage of my membership process. I already told you about the challenge that I am facing. There is no money, and no one is willing to borrow me.
I really wish to have completed the stage 3 now but the problem of money is really hard on me.
I am looking out for who will borrow me money in other to complete the monument of faith.
Meanwhile, Pastor Moses hasn't not message me for the past one week. And I am troubled, when last did you talk to him.
Please help me to tell that I want to hear from him. |
Mr L, you should probably reach out to him to keep him happy.
On a side note, Archie contacted Roger again on August 2, 2016, and I have kept him on the hook continuously since then. I believe that is a sandtimer: |

Well done on the sandtimer. That is quite a feat for any lad, let alone a lad that is also doing a variety of meaningless tasks all along the way.
Yes, Moses has ignored him a bit lately, since he's full of excuses and the WIMP seems to be the best odds of getting him to get off his ass.
Quote: |
Hello my son,
It is good to hear from you. It has been a very busy week indeed, with my normal duties of preparing for Sunday Services, we also had the most wonderful bake sale! Let me tell you that young Susan did not disappoint, she prepared some delicious deserts that were well received by our congregation. Along with the fundraising of the church we had an exceptional turnout and raised a great amount of funds to help with your friends of your village.
Has Roger yet gotten you the information on the total money raised? I have not yet heard the final total, but I think you will be most pleased with the funds we were able to raise.
I have also been very busy helping one of our other convorts. Have I told you about Ramit? He was one of our very eagerest of convorts who completed all of his stages and became a member of our Church earlier this year. He lives in a place called Bangladesh which is sort of near China. Ramit is helping us to establish a church there. He is one of the convorts that I am most proud of because he worked quickly to complete his stages, even through hardships, and is now one of our eagerest members. I am very proud of Ramit for all that he has done.
So tell me my son, how is your Stage 3 coming along? Surely you have begun work on the foundation of the Monument and the Bench?
Pastor Moses |
I figured it wouldn't hurt to compliment another convort for being a hard worker, and ask Archie about his (lack of) progress at the same time. |
