Hey folks,
i am a new comer in this forum but i want to experience with you two romance scams which i have been "victim" very recently.

Main case : Florence xxxxx.
On Blindr, my profile matched with another profile from the same country. Been French living in Irlande, the person I matched with was also French. Well French/Irish as she said. She nearly immediately asked me to have a chat on Skype. I added her on this IM, and soon enough we started a conversation. Nearly immediately she STARTED a video chat. I refused at first been a bit shy. Then i accepted and saw a gorgeous brunette lady. No micro was involved. Video chat lasted very short. Everything though looks real. We continue a soft conversation, but straight to the ROMANCE view. She asked me a lot of personal questions, about love, marriage, relationship, etc. She seems to be quite reactive, as she answered my questions. It also seems to be LOVE already from her, telling me I was cute, which I am not.
The day after, we continue for a longer conversation, in which she showed me her pictures. A gorgeous lady, same as the video chat, The pictures looked fine, as I thought ihey might had been taken by her ex boyfriend. Because of the video chat, I was already caught in the process.
However, i noticed her profile on Blindr disappeared. She explained it was to focus on me only. Also her Skype profile, xxxxxFlorence, showed she was from Belgium. She told me she is from Ireland, but work as internship for a chemist in.... Abidjan, and will be back in Ireland in two weeks.
So that's already three tricks. But over whole, because of the conversations and the vdieo chat, I still continued.
The third day, yesterday, while i was really exited to speak to her, the video chat lasted longer, still without mic, around 6 minutes.
Then... after telling me I was the man of her life...she pretended she needed my help. Straight away I told her I won't send any money. She laugh, but explained the Internet provider will cut her line if she did not pay by today, monday.
Oh, no internet, i lost the love of my life !
Well I did not fall into it, thanks God. She did not insisted, said she was upset, and then cut Skype and erased me from her contact.
On Google, I found a website [url]arnacoeurs.com[/url] which show pcitures of Romance Scam Ladies.... and of course, I found her.
The pics came from a porn model from Canada.
The pics were on the top list of scam ladies.

UPDATE : After little search, I found out this model is Josie Ann Miller, a well known Canadian soft porn model whose pictures are all over the net. She also used Video Chat, this is why I found out the scammers used it on Skype.

You guys surely know her, but I was not... and like you was a fool and naive prey !

My second scam came this morning, yeah two in a rough !
This time it was on Facebook.
French lady asked me for friend.
I was his... only friend.
Started a conversation on Messenger.
Very poor French and very poor english also.
I asked her when she from, as I noticed her poor French, she explained she was from Canada. So I started to speak in English. She asked me : Old are you ? In a broken english.
So A Canadian lady who cannot speak English or French !
Straight Away I told her she was a 419 or a "broutteur" as they say in Ivory Coast. She looked surprised and let me go straight away, with no access to her profile.
Name of the profile : Diane xxxxxx.

Hi Wllfr and welcome to Eater!

I noticed that you seem to be responding to these people through what appears to be your real life profiles and FaceBook accounts. Please do not do this-it isn't safe to be messing around with criminals who have your real information and photos. This is especially true since you apparently skyped via video chat and appeared on camera.

At Eater we strongly encourage safe baiting-which means using a fake account or profile that does not have your true information. Thhis is especially true in skype. Scammers have been known to fake videos, just like they faked the photos. Please read our Stickies in Main, they will tell you hhow to go about baiting without puttting your details at risk.

Also I have edited out the names of your "scammers". We don't allow postings without evidence-too many people have posted information about teir exes or their boss. Usually we also require that any photo sent to you be marked "used by a scammer" or similar phrases so they cann't be reused.
