Ive been out of the game for several years but have recently taken to wasting a few minutes out of the day baiting Facebook scammers. I have forgotten, what is the significance of the word HISSSSSSS when a scammer is pissed off? Thanks. |

i think it's just meant to be obnoxious and threatening. It's the same reason cats do it. It literally translates as "hit me with that auto-reply where you curse my mama's toto for born me and tell me my papa will run naked for market like rabies monkey". That's my interpretation, anyway. Try it yourself, I'm sure it'll all come back soon enough. |

What sort of scammers are you targeting? If by chance they are related to online gaming I think I have the answer.
There's a HISSSSS meme that spun off from an inside joke involving youtuber "LeafyIsHere" and his fans, now widespread as comment spam/trolling from self proclaimed members of the Reptilian Brotherhood / Reptilian Army.

Facebook scammer. A lovely young woman from Beaumont Tx that is currently stranded in Nigeria while her grandmother dies from breast cancer. She expects a sizeable inheritance which she wants to share with me if I can help her with a few dollars to get by in the meantime. |
