Yeah, they're always going to say they're going back...I'm just trying to see what other straws you can throw out there for them to grasp at. I think he said he was going back because he felt there was nowhere left to go

well, it's funny.

he actually needs a nigerian bank account to receive money through western union.

and ghana has very strickt regulations about how much can be sent from ghana abroad.

both things are biting him right now.

and when he talks about going home, then eric wouldn't like to come to nigeria (otherwise he would just bring the money with him).

I got that impression long ago, that eric just used an excuse to go home, and told franklin that his father is sick, knowing that franklin wouldn't ask any questions.

just a funny idea: uzumbo should tell franklin, that erics father is still alive, and that it was just a lie by eric to go home. there is a serious chance that it is exactly that way.

and tomorrow, dan requests at the transportation company, that the parcel should be delivered with premium to the address in ghana, to eric. of course, that requires a form signed by the receiver, and additional tasks (sworn statement, and other things, and a red seal of truth).

We haven't seen Uzumbo lately. Maybe he receives a message that Franklin returned to Ghana, which leads him to send the package there as Robert suggested. There is the possibility that he would be willing to safari further, but a mad dash to Ghana would be best.

I have mentioned a few times that a death certificate should be requested. If (When?) Franklin goes back to Ghana, death certificates will be required for both fathers to verify the story, as well as sworn statements, notarized in the presence of GPS lawyer.

Normally this lawyer is based out of the Bouake office, but as luck would have it, he is going to be coming to Ghana for a brief vacation of game hunting! So he'll be in Sabuli for a couple of days...but only a couple of days.

I'll volunteer a voice if you need it. Smile

Maybe while Moses is waiting for Franklin he spots Achmed or someone that looks like him walking around, spooking him. Thus it is imperative for Franklin to immediately head to the right spot, and if he doesn't arrive on time Moses can move to another safer hotel.

Well, it was a good run... but I do think that the safari is about to fizzle out. Little Franklin is all by himself now in northern Nigeria, and I can tell that he is really losing trust and patience with Moses. I don't see him moving any further. The path has taken them from from Accra > Abuja > Jos > Bauchi > Gombe > Biu > Maiduguri > Damaturu > Maiduguri. It is now day 37. It has been about 24 hours since I heard anything from Franklin, which means he's probably either headed back to Ghana, or he has had troubles with the police in Maiduguri.

I just don't see being able to move him any further right now. So Moses sends this:

A good run? It was a GREAT run! Lots of fraudstration for them and entertainment for us. I just wish we could hear a rant out of them over voice.
