This is my first bait- it started with a surplus claiming to be from Money Gram. So my character sends out an email and in response gets:

ATTN: J********** JONES <me>

We receive your response with your information regarding of transfer your fund Therefore, we shall pay you as directed by the authorities making a total sum of $5000 per day for you. here is details:

This is your control # and pick up the details for the $5000 each in money gram.

Reference number: 98528517 ($5000)
Reference number: 90583513 ($5000)
Senders name: <lad's generic fake name>
Receiver:J******** Jones <that's me>
Senders address: rue du capital adjovi cotonou Benin Republic
Note that each reference is $5000 with same info of sender and receiver.

However, government (IMF) mandate that you will pay all wire transfer cost. Each $5000 costs $55 to be processed and activated your file to get the money released by money gram money transfer in your country, you have to pay $55 before we can activate the payment control numbers above because without paying the $55, money gram cannot release the fund to you because of the CODE placed on hold upon it baring you from cashing it until the fee is paid. your 2.7 million dollars will be transfer to you completely

Therefore, pay the $55 Through Money gram to the name bellow:

So, obviously you "pay" moneygram more than 55 dollars- (he works there, right?) for extra security measures:

As you may (or may not) know, this is a number developed by Frost, (thank you Frost,) which is designed to waste a lot of lad's time and phone cards. So let's see how moneygram reacts to not-moneygram's new security measures, shall we?

This might be a good point to have your MG returned and suggest a bank-to-bank transfer. There is no way you could consciously send a WU transfer to a MG agent.
