I am a novice to Eater (and the Church of TWAT) but I have to say (as one who is keen on art) that another dimension could be added to this matter.
I guess it is serendipitous that at a TWAT board meeting your cultural attaché was so impressed with the monument that he showed pictures of it to some influential figures in the international art market in London, Geneva and New York.
These big hitters in the contemporary installation oeuvre are clamouring to see it.
It ticks all the boxes: Raw, earthy (literally) ethnic, borne of suffering and religiosity, etc.
Is there anyway that this masterpiece could be shipped/air freighted over and displayed in a major art gallery? These art guys will pay ANYTHING for the prestige.
The cultural heritage of the entire planet will be greatly enriched.

what is he supposed to do? poor the tuna oil over his head?

if so, I'd suggest any other fish oil he can get.

and what does the ceremony look like? I'd suggest, that it is a multi-part ceremony. first part is to poor that oil over his head, mumbling some important words. then he has to send the video to the church. they review it, and respond with in a reasonable time so he can proceed with the baptism-ritual, where he is allowed to wash the oil away.

of course, the time in between is very reasonable Twisted Evil
