Sorry guys but he seems to have run out of patience. I've heard nothing from him this year. I think the massive charge back I did and shutting the other down (even temporarily) pushed him over the edge.
I'm pretty sure he'll come back at some point, he obviously sucks at scamming from what we've seen so far. I'm gently prodding at the moment asking questions like "do you want the payments made to date refunding to your cards or sent to your address" to see if I can goad him into replying but so far - nothing.
Probably the best way to rehook him is to keep sending 'promotional' emails from your tour operator every month or so - much as a legitimate tour operator might - with special offers and so on?
I reckon you'll get your sand timer K, just not right now ... Sad

He's back on both tour operators. 27 sets of numbers waiting this morning.
As a reward for coming back, a small allow on both accounts. Reversals resume tomorrow ...

When you decide to make a payment (I wouldn't leave it too long) - don't make too many too quickly or he'll get suspicious when you have to dry up a little.

23 in the collecting tin this morning. A mild reversal yesterday didn't put him off. I've got payments from July onwards waiting to bounce on one operator so I'll up the ante a bit tomorrow.

If you get a batch of 16 cards and the CVV on the last one is 644 then you've got them as well.

He went AWOL yesterday but is back with a vengeance today.

ETA: SB - there's a good chance you may end up with any legitimate cards he can lay his hands on I guess.

^^^ C, not so far -- the two cards he provided today expire in May and August, just like every other card he's given me. I've declined both so now we'll wait & see. Neutral

ETA: AMEX cards for the first time. Have you seen those before from him?

SB - I don't know - what format are the Amex cards? It's possible he's seeing if something works for you and he can concentrate on those I guess.
It may be worth telling him that you can handle large volumes of cards as long as they have a large enough credit limit then ignore the fact that they keep failing?

^^^ They are in the correct AMEX format: 4-digit CVV and start with 37xx. I think he believes AMEX might work better on me because they usually don't have set limits.

I'm pretty sure that these are phony because of the May & August expirations. He has a funny tell on the mass CC lists -- the May ones are always written: "|5/201x", and the August's are "|08/201x". That screws with my OCD for having aligned columns.

ETA: I've cancelled his booking again and went for the pink. Fingers crossed.
