Just told him that the transfer to the Santander account was rejected.

I'll wait for him to provide another account and then reverse a couple of payments.

Poor guy.

His biggest transaction was rescinded today. Of nearly $28k in attempted charges, only $9k has succeeded. I hope he has some very strong words for his bank! Two more Visas this morning...

He is just too easy. I am growing bored of him Plus he can't just reply to one thread OR start new emails every time. Randomly he replies to an old thread and ruins the synchronization!! (I like a sense of order especially with Credit Cards)

Drusilla, I SO agree, and when I'm starting to feel really bored and annoyed with him (which is often - you can relate for sure), I just keep thinking about the owners of these stolen credit cards and what a pain it would be if these cards were actually charged with fraudulent stuff. Ugh. I figure you're going through similar intellectual exercises here.

Thank you for hanging in there and making life SO much easier on people out there whose credit / finances are in danger. You are doing so much GOOD right now, and I'm saying that because I've had my credit cards compromised, and I'd much rather get a call from the bank asking me to change a friggin' expiry date than to justify thousands of dollars of charges to a merchant (and I've had that awful call as well.) I know you realize the good you're doing here, and for the newcomers out there, let's make this really transparent... Considering he's asking somewhere around $4000 per transaction, how many dollars in charges would you say you've prevented so far? I bet it's a pretty amazing amount!

I had one of my Company cards buy some I-tunes on November 15th one year. It was easy to dispute as I was out in my Deer blind all day for the season opener. I had to go back into work on the 16th and sign the affidavit that I hadn't made any purchases.

Woody, I got the same account as you - reported before I checked... rats!

ETA I cook up a mean receipt, will likely send him one showing the funds will transfer on Tues/Wed, then something will happen and the funds will be returned next week.

Might even have a charge or two returned in the meantime.....

ETA2: @Woody - let me know if you have a target date for the account not working, and I'll coordinate to be sure we're sending a consistent message!

ETA Karl's wife went to the bank for the deposit. She forgot to scan the slip, so our lad will simply have to ask, right? Also, there's a bit left over so she offered to refund it to the last card scanned, unless he wants to pre-load his bar tab.
