Just a thought, but your friend could be a victim of a sextortion scam and the scammer is trying to get back in contact with him after being blocked. It might be worth mentioning to him so he can take precaurtions.

Alternatively, she could just be a crazy stalker Laughing

Oh yes I contacted him as soon as she dropped his name. He knows her, kind of a weird story but yes he's aware of her being a potentional scammer or anything like that. Thanks for the heads up!

Hello!

This forum seems to be old (dating back to 2010!) and I decided to join in 2020. I am glad there are other members who are also new and I am not the only one. I am new to scambaiting and I'm looking for a mentor. However, the Mentor Program seems to be closed as of right now for some reason. I would appreciate it if someone PM'd me for some tips/tricks as a veteran scambaiter. I just need someone to guide me in the world of scambaiting until the program opens up. Thanks!

Hey there,

I am new to scambaiting, so i just signed up here today. I hope to be able to get some good laughs in here and to do that in a safe way. I'd love it if someone could pm me some tips, either here or on discord. As of now, i have set up a protonmail account that has noothing to do with anything personal of me, but i have a hard time finding good scam emails to reply to in english as i mainly recieve bitcoin scams that ask for your bank details, which i cant do anything with. Im someone has any tips for this, that would be appreciated.

Hi all, I am returning to the site after an absence of some years, and my username has been deleted so I've re-registered. Why? Because I've just received a spam email from someone who claims I have just been awarded a large sum of money from the UN Coronavirus Relief Fund... That has really pushed some buttons with me, and I really want to go after this guy. I'm a bit rusty, though, so if anyone has some advice on dealing with this heartless little piece of skin I'd appreciate it.

Welcome to Eater ElMoutardo! Read the rules and stickies, sign up for a mentor if you like, and bait safe. If that corona virus spam went to your personal email tied to your real life then you should probably drop him. Only bait using accounts not tied to your real world details. There are tons of lads trying to push COVID-19 formats. Below is an ongoing thread where users post the email addresses of those losers. Feel free to grab a lad there if the spam you received was sent to your real email.
