A Challenge:

This has been such an entertaining and masterful bait. The fact that these lads are obviously successful makes the lad pain that much sweeter.

I think most followers of this bait have little doubt that the dynamic duo of Juan and Capone will get AL to travel once again, and I am one of them. However for a little fun, I propose two Eater challenges.

First, if this Safari is confirmed on the webcam, it will be my pleasure to donate $20 representing $1 for each of the thousand miles he has traveled and another $10 representing $1 for each of the thousand dollars he has spent chasing Sue's money.

Second, if Sue can get AL to show up on the webcam wearing the red scarf that she has suggested he wear to keep his tender little body warm, I will donate another $20.

@All AL Safari Followers - Anyone else want to join in the red scarf challenge? I am sure any donation would be appreciated.

B8er's been correcting me all along. The time zone is Mountain Daylight Savings, so an hour earlier than MST.

Scamming is a real business for these lads.
Remember that the number of unreported scams is far much higher than you may think.
Its a multi-million dollar "industry" especially in West Africa where statistically major scams do originate from.
In Africa during a recent conference for country intelligence chiefs,it was reported to be a major source of funds for terrorism. Evil or Very Mad

apparently, this scammer is successful enough to sustain life in the usa and travel a lot around.

I guess, wash-wash is a very good modality. maybe he gets a victim every half year, that would mean, that a victim has to pay at least 30.000 US$, otherwise he'd just not get enough money to live in the us.

2 victims a year. Is this scammer just sitting in front of his pc all the time trying to find victims every day? Or is this "type of a scammer involved in other "bussines"? Does a scammer like him have a real job?

As you are tallying expenses, the last time I rented a car at the Denver airport it was $100/day with all the fees. That was for a compact car from Avis with a bug-splattered windshield.

I am curious. Do we have the real identities of these people?

If so: While I completely agree a normal straight on approach with the law enforcement wont brings these people down, I have another suggestion when you guys are done with them.

It is related to the taxes I assume these people don't pay.

Kind of hard to document cash income and I really doubt there are any records. Which isn't to say doing an Al Capone (ouch!) after we're done is a bad idea!

He just might have a long paper trail of airfare travel. Which is kind of hard to pay if you don't have any documented income of which you have paid tax.

I am not saying this will, but I am inclined to believe it can, bring him down.

If you at any point become interested in this approach, do let me know if you want help in that regard. I might be able (can't promise though) to get a hold of a contact in IRS who will take it seriously from the first e-mail.

As to this guy's success, we have no way of knowing how much he steals but wash-wash lads are often very successful. If you go back to the earlier pages of this thread he opened up in emails to my fake lad character. He is not hustling these jobs, he's partnering with some lads back in Africa. They plant the seeds, he plucks the fruit. From what he said (and granted, he could just be boasting) he is not interested in "small" jobs and mocked my fake lad for dabbling in such little sums. Until fake lad pointed out he had taken over $500K from this victim so far, and was continuing to rake it in. Ultimately the real lad begged to work with the fake lad.

From the way he dresses and the free manner in which he has spent money in his many travels chasing Sue, I have to think that he's an very successful scammer. All the more reason to hate him. Mad

He's not your average lad. He deals with is victims face-to-face, not collecting WU from thousands of miles away. He is a slick con artist in the traditional sense of the term. Well-dressed and good looking, and a smooth talker, and willing to face off with his victims as he takes their money.

^^ Yea I understand that from it. Succesful scammers are the worst.

It's a standing offer. I do, however, very well understand if you want to seek out more trusted people in this. Afterall I am a complete rookie in here Smile

I would sacrifize many a thing to see this lad burn in hell.

It's just a throwaway idea but if Sue should somehow fail to turn up could the lad be sent an email telling him that she had to go for some urgent reason & she hid a concealed package for the lad in one of the bins in the bottom right hand corner of the screen? If you are sure he's going to twig after this one anyway you may at least see him scrabbling through some rubbish? Perhaps the bin just outside the apartment building ... ?

I can't wait! I had errands to do this morning but re-arranged them until AFTER I watched this bait and see this piece of poop on web-cam waiting for his expected big payoff! I missed it the last time, and I am NOT going to miss it today!

Which was the favored link? There were a few people who posted links and I became confused on which is best.

I popped a bunch of popcorn to get us ready. Unfortunately the store was OUT of triple chocolate king sized drumsticks, so I have Fudge Brownie Ice cream and Pecan Praline Ice Cream. I plan on having a scoop of each while waiting for the scum bucket to show up (in red scarf of course) and will save Astronomer 2 scoops of each for his generosity. Do you have the pretzels ready?

I do want to congratulate Juan & Capone for all the work they have done, it's amazing what you've done to this lad. He's sitting in his hotel room/driving to the meet, dreaming of ways he's going to spend his ill gotten cash. Evil Lol
