I'm pretty sure the Bimbom-Bump gang is Slavic. They use nameservers in the Soviet Union, except for a few months when they used nameservers in Poland (after repeated reports, the Polish NIC put a stop to this). One victim talked with one of the gang and reported that she sounded like she was from Czechoslovakia.
ETA: Here's a list of sites I've reported in Russian. Most of them had a host in Russia or some Russian-speaking country. Look in the fake banks forum for them; most have links to Scamwarners.

I can't give you specifics, but a lot of lotto (that's easy for me to say) scammers seem to be in Portugal or Spain for some reason. |
