Dodgy Site for shutdown?

I'm dealing with a senior Asian banking executive (uh-huh) who has suggested a solicitor to handle some of the paperwork. This solicitor in question does appear to have a website. How do we determine if it's a genuine site, of which the info has simply been ripped off, or a dodgy site that might be a contender for shut down?

Incidentally, the paperwork my banker sent through uses the same email contact for the solicitor as the website, and it's part of the domain name, not a gmail/yahoo etc. I have actually suggested that I'll return it directly to the solicitors email address, so we'll see what the banker's reaction to this will be.
