Looks yummy, Irish!

I make a chocolate cheesecake that has no fat at all, except for the chocolate. It's so creamy and rich that people can hardly believe it's not full of fat, and it's really easy to make. Sometimes I'll use pumpkin instead of chocolate, which results in a completely non-fat cheesecake.

If anyone is interested, I will be happy to share the recipe.

O.k. then!
First thing for the chocolate cheesecake - put 16 ozs. of chocolate into a small sauce pan on very low heat. Then get out a few non-fat graham wafers. I use maybe 4 or 5. Put them in a bag and whack them with a rolling pin. Then sprinkle the crumbs over the bottom of the cheesecake pan. Is this anyone's favourite part of a cheesecake? I don't even eat that part and look at it as just a bed for the cheesecake.

Get out your mixer and cream 4 packages of non-fat cream cheese. Add 2 cups brown sugar, and then beat in 4 eggs. Now add the melted chocolate, then mix in 16ozs. of non-fat sour cream. Pour into the cheesecake pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325. It will still be wobbly in the middle. After it is cooled, cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.

I forgot to add that the chocolate can be replaced with pumpkin or use a mix of both. You can use dark or milk and can add raspberries, strawberries or blueberries to the mix. It's not a "fussy" recipe at all.

I've put 3/4 of a store bought chocolate cheesecake in the freezer this afternoon. The SO came home after joining a Biggest Loser group. No more cheesecake for us.

BTW the chocolate cheesecake had what tasted like crumbled Oreo cookies for a crust.

This thread is very zen for me. In my part of the UK we only know about a simple recipe, crushed digestive biscuits for the base, heated with a little butter to bind it. Tamp it down in a round tin, slop sour-creme over this, then add a layer of jam/fruit conserve. That's it.

I've got a recipe waiting for me to try it, which is a cheesecake style base filled with a beer and condensed milk filling and topped with beer jelly.
