I always enjoyed a love angle twisted into my safari baiting and now that I fancy having another little nibble at the lads, I wonder where you guys are currently fishing for them?

In recent times all of my baiting leads have been generated from regular chatrooms where there is always a fraudstar lurking in the shadows... Very Happy

Others go for facebook chatters
Fishmeetfish, tagged, badoo and mingle2 seem loaded with lads

If you like vlads, 7Fri.com and mybelovednet.com are fertile fishing areas. Dakar darlings show up there too.

I just signed up on mingle2 and have been inundated with lads. I'm still getting some on saymehi too. FMF has been up and down lately but I still get a steady stream from there too...when they're up.

Logged on skype for few days then lads will find you. Then first lad, respond friendly. Then nex few unfriendly, say who are you, go away etc.
Then many changes names and comes back. Experimentally done this with one fake account, blocked 93 lads in 2weeks. 1 in 10 were John Mageau, 1 in 8 were Uwe. Obviously all these guys are lads.

Interpals is providing some excellent entertainment at the moment. Standards seem to be slipping on that site - the mods seem slow to react to scammers recently - but there's a better quality lad to be found there - mostly from Ghana, although I have a nice one dangling at the moment in Senegal. Set up an account and just stay online, there's live chat - go have a beer and when you come back take your pick from the messages.

For a bit of light entertainment on Skype add yr account details at www.addmecontacts.com - you'll get hits within minutes - but the standard is poor - mostly idiots, although the occasional gem turns up - one lasted 6 weeks.

Well as an update to my registrations...
FMF frustrates me, it isn't active or snappy enough for my usual appetite... Smile

Interpals, is much more like it, messages continually popping up....but despite getting 300 new contacts, I haven't had any that have the obvious odour of lad.... Confused

Maybe, one of you guys knows of a bonafide scammer on Interpals that you could throw to me...?

I don't use interpals either but I think a good rule of thumb is to have a profile that would make ITP's move right along. I still laugh at Ginger being a blow up doll. Laughing

On FMF, you'll have some come to you on their own but for the most part I find that I have to send messages first. That or if you look at a profile, they can see that you have viewed it. A lot of them have messaged me because of that.

I've had some luck on match . com searching for widowed/divorced construction workers making over $100k, and then add the keyword "yahoo" in there. Several of them each week post their email addy cryptically. I respond before their profile goes "poof", by asking them if I got the instructions right, and at that point I have a lad but haven't had to put any effort into a profile. I've never had them question me about it. My first long bait (Bet'yer Bootie) was a match lad who posted his yahoo address in his profile. Some will post their phone numbers as their profile name - once I get comfortable with phone baiting I'll go after a couple of those. Cool

I've gotten some really fun love lads from facebook, the illiterate west African variety, but this new one is kind of boring, rather than instant love, went straight for a lame NOK with a twist of "if you care about me you'll help me."

I do have to admit that I have had zero success on either Interpals (lots of activity, all genuine folks) or Fishmeetfish which was as dead as a doornail.

I do like the feature of being able to see 'who viewed my profile' but even by doing that, I can see that no lads have sniffed around.

Profiles laid on other sites has to be the next move... Rolling Eyes

^^ I have been having to seek them out lately. Look at the men or women online tabs and read the obvious lad profiles and send them a message. I usually send them my email addy and will get a response.

Has anyone checked out Datana? I came across it while researching a lad to post at SW. I found a lot of obvious lad stuff. One was this profile that a deaf woman had put up of herself and the lads flocked to it. You can see their replies to her profile. There were 40 replies and every one of them was a lad.

I'm not actively picking up new romance scammers at the moment, but I have 10 IMs on FMF each morning and 2 or 3 of those are first contacts.

Lottaspots, I created a fake FB account and friended a mule who had a lot of lads as friends. They started messaging me soon after. PM me - I can hook you up.
