Ima, I am HURT. Yes, the VD thread came first and IRRC the fishing thread came along when many of the nicest, purdiest, and seemingly available ladies had made their decision weeks ahead of time. Then there was the extracurricular MOD Room wooing, that us regular folks could only <strike>fantasize</strike> dream about.

Now, I am not a chicken and Shiver knows I have tried my best (at times) even hurting my head and dignity with poetry, instead of trips back to the future or Paris. I have tried to believe that money doesn't buy love, but... Just sayin'

I don't mean to sound whiny, I am just trying to be factual (even though some of the scars are still tender).

The good thing is Luckey often shows up for VD and I get to woo her a bit. I am not one of these shallow guys who want friends with benefits. I will just settle with the <strike>benefits</strike> FRIEND part.

As some person said one time (and it has echoed in my head for years) "Perception is reality". Very Happy

As good and holy and pure as the defiled love of bacon is to my infidel heart..... my heart can only belong to one lady here on eater. She tickled my inner anarchist desires with a challenge that I found rather intriguing and in the process I found her to be the most intriguing part of this puzzle. A lady with heart pure and simple yet so extraordinary and rebellious it inspired a true definition of karmic bliss. My time during this bait was mind blowing and I will cherish every second of it for the rest of my life.

To my muse: Lets introduce a little anarchy, steal a cop car, and abscond to my private stolen yacht in true Gotham style. We can be served by a captured Alfred with nothing but the finest of drinks from my BevMo heist, all over candle light while I cook some exquisite dishes of Asian influence for us. For the evenings I will serenade you with sweet celtic love ballads from my acoustic guitar, and perhaps some Guns n Roses, while we sail to our private and privileged tropical destination where we can relax at our leisure or even partake in many of the islands activities.

When I said chickens, I didn't mean you, dear ParaNoid. I know from past year's threads that you have the fortitude for public wooing. There is a difference between wooing and then ending up fishing, and just saying "screw it, I won't even try, I'll just go fishing".
Also - Please note that I haven't been wooed by my fellow mods for the past two years! Maybe this year, though. Wink
