When a Lad gets caught out, the high dudgeon can be unbelieveable.

Mal demanded that a Lad give proof of his bona fides:

After getting the Lad to (apparently) agree to sending a pic of himself holding his ID card, Mal gets this:

Now the guys in the pix may be ITPs, but to appreciate the Lad's folly, you have to see the faces.

Mal's reply is quietly dismissive:

More to the point - you sent me pictures of two different people, neither of whom matches the face on the ID card.

The Lad is indignant:
