I sent them an email and got a response in an hour with a PDF job application form that was loaded with errors.
I happen to know someone who works for Carnival and their office is only 2 km from where I live.
The form of the scam seems to be to obtain personal identifying detail including passport number.
I didn't bother to check the location source of the email, but a guess might be Nigeria or some s-hole like that. |

Actually, this looks like it probably is the work of the 419 scammers. They particularly like to impersonate hotels and cruise lines.
While there are a few variants, this is most likely the key.

The scammers typically instruct victims to email the "Immigration Bureau" at a fake address, where the victims will be instructed to send a fee for visas, work permits, or some imaginary document needed to be able to work there.
It's still a standard advance fee, only instead of the payout being some dead person's millions, it's this great job with pay and benefits far beyond what the victims could get in their own country. |

Your description is likely correct. The form as it reads seems angled that way. Thanks. |
