Years ago, a friend of mine going through a particularly rough patch was not thinking clearly and was in an increasingly desperate situation financially and personally (she just needed to "get away from it all") despite us friends doing what we could to help.

She saw an email claiming to be from an NGO, and thought - here is a way to escape and do some good at the same time. It was an orphanage, and in Cameroon - wow, what an opportunity! right?

wrong... or would I be posting here?

She sent money, more money and then against our warnings, went over... was attacked, raped... came back shattered....

She is sadly is not with us anymore, despite we friends supporting her and her wonderful attempts to rise up over the impossible adversity - she saw no way back and took her own life.

This was a decade ago... I am a patient man, very patient - I bide my time, learn the ropes, learn from experts... and will calmly, but surely inflict pain on these lads...they broke the rules, I won't - but will learn how to use their own greed and malice to bring them down.

... they made it personal and revenge, my way, is calm, calculated and devastating

I have no words to say it any better than Vampiremerchant. With my recent safari, I was asked, "How will you feel if the lad gets killed." I have my limits and I follow the rules here, but my response was, "With the unending stories of suicides, financial ruin and deaths caused by lads, I do not rejoice in death, but I will sleep fine that night and know there are fewer people that will be hurt because of him."

is spot on and well put!

My goal is to definitely stay within the rules, not actively seek for a lad's death and such, but should it occur, it would be due to his own greed and quest for ill-gotten riches.

Welcome to Eater! I'm sorry that what brought you here was something so tragic. It's sad to say that what your friend went through and what ultimately caused her to take her own life is probably more common then the general public knows. True, a higher number of people aren't raped or kidnapped but very many people are left broken. I mostly bait love lads because I hate knowing that there are those disgusting lads that do nothing but prey on the emotional needs of lonely people. Those people are often left feeling broken and alone after what they thought was the love of their life just disappears and that pisses me off. So I do what I can to make them pay.
