Of course, sending money to another country from the US requires the use of SS - required by Homeland Security.

Harry asked to use moneygram instead of WU. I sent him an 8 page questionaire from this site, but he didn't have a scanner, so didn't fill that out.

Harry also spend quite a bit of time trying to get his MCTN using ST. After numerous attempts, with different results each time,
he finally got a valid MCTN.
I sent him $1 via WU. (Those damn WU agents - it was supposed to be $1000...they screwed up the decimal.)
Note that he didn't pick up the money, and WU refunded my full $11.

The WU receipt generator on this site was also most helpful.

Oh, there was more to it that this!

The 'package' contained $5000. Since it's a bad idea to send cash through the mail, Harry came up with the idea that I should hide it inside of a playstation game. I told him this was a brilliant idea. At the time, I was in the hospital. I told him I'd ship it in a medical box so that no one would know what it was. Being the suspicious lad he was, he demanded a picture. So I photochopped a playstation and a medical hazard waste box onto a hospital bed. (Can't figure out how to upload it here.)

When the package arrived in Altanta, I sent an email that said, 'Oh no! If I'd known it was going through Atlanta, I'd never have used a medical waste box. That's where the Centers for Disease Control is.'
Then....'Oh no. I've never heard of Biohazard Hold. Do you think they'll search the package and find the money?'

Guatemala City wasn't quite random, either. In RL, I went to Guatemala for vacation, so the package passed through that airport on the same day I did.

And Medillon being the drug capital of the world, there was the possibility that someone might also search the package and find the money during the drug inspection.

Sao Paulo was merely because that's on my wish list of future travel destinations.

And yes, he had several hours where it looked like the package was on its way to Lagos. Funny how the shipping company forgot the country on that tracking line.

xx shipping was most helpful in keeping my lad occupied while I was on RL vacation and couldn't be bothered with him.

Alas, I fear that I have finally lost my pet. He has not responded to repeated inquiries in 4 days. This is the last I've heard.....
