I have the misfortune to be dealing with some real lazy idiots who are suppliers to clients of mine. They drive me to distraction but usually I manage a veneer of politeness when I email them. Today I wrote them a most intemperate missive - just as if I were giving a lad a slap - and realised I was still in Eater mode. I thought I'd better tone it down a bit but when I re-read it, I decided I quite liked having turned into a bastard. Am I doomed?

Update: I've had a reply from The Idiot in which he has ignored my demands and carried on with his own agenda. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I wonder if he is moonlighting from his normal job in Nigeria.

I haven't lost my veneer of politeness with idiot suppliers. I have, however, sent them corrupted dll files when they asked me to scan some pointless document Laughing

Well I'd say it has worked differently for me. Being able to be a real bastard with the lads allows me to be calmer in RL.

I would have to agree with PF.

I actually think that baiting has the exact opposite effect on me, that I'm a nicer guy, because I let my inner bastard get satisfied through baiting. It's alright to be an asshole to those who deserve it, after all.

I don't know if it's made me a bastard (I was well on my way to that before starting baiting), but it's definitely affected my RL. In some cases for the better, for example knowing more about website hosting has helped me some in a technology class I'm taking in university. In other cases it's just sort of leaked out into RL. I was filling out an online form for uni the other day and when I got to the address part I started to put in my main baiting character's fake address by mistake.

Hehehe. I am definitely going to find an excuse to do that. They have effectively been doing that to me.

I divide lad slaps into three categories, which can, of course, be combined freely:
1 you are an idiot
2 comply or else
3 stream of invective

I have treated my LIS (Lazy Idiot Supplier) to liberal doses of 2 and implications of 1. I have so far avoided any 3, although my personal favourite "I'm gonna to stick to you like your uncle's jizz in your mother's hair" might come in useful later.

Baiting helps with keeping my blood pressure down in RL. Vent mountains of spleen upon deserving lads. Only time I vent any spleen in RL is upon the vermin who treat animals badly.

as I face the challenges of unemployment right now, there are some human recource departments of different companies aswell as our nice and of course very customerfriendly job center (Arbeitsmarktservice), which acts like an agency, but is in fact a private yet state owned company with some extra rights and with a lot of very lazy people.

And it's maybe just a matter of time till I begin sending my applications via our snail Twisted Evil

The real advantage is: I performed on slap two days ago against two hr-employees of a recuiter-company... and I had their oga as bcc. phoned with one of them yesterday... her butt seemed to be slapped very hard Twisted Evil

They wouldn't be my suppliers for ten minutes. They are suppliers to very good clients of mine. Unfortunately I have to work with them to integrate our systems.
